This immediately sounds suspicious. Who is this "geologist" anyway?

All I can find is this this guy. Who looks a lot like the guy in a picture on the main page of site you linked to (the one with the kid holding the sign "Sanders Oil"). It's pretty obvious they're the same Chris Sanders.

The site I found lists his education which says nothing of geology...though he says he got a "Doctor of Meta Physical Sciences" from Universal Life Church, Modesto, which probably explains his precognitive powers. If he ends up being right it will be coincidental.

edit: I just found his video that someone else located on Youtube. You should be warned this is a very self-indulgent 8 or 9 minute piece he made. I couldn't stomach it all the way through.
