Just when you think there can't be even one more theory about the JFK assassination, along comes
"JFK: The Smoking Gun". Some here no doubt already know about this, but it is new to me.
JFK: The Smoking Gun (TV Movie 2013) - IMDb
Many here will probably already have heard the theory that the death of JFK was the result of a mostly botched attempt by Oswald firing full metal jacket rounds from the School Book Depository, combined with an errant shot from an AR 15 by an inept secret service agent in a following car that was the "kill shot" causing the president's head to virtually explode.
It's ingenious and would explain a number of things: why the bullet passing through Kennedy's neck and governor Connally behaved so differently from the fragmentation round that struck his skull, why witnesses on the ground smelled gunpowder, why all the tiny fragments embedded in Kennedy's brain have mysteriously disappeared etc. A little hard to believe the AR 15 round would have accidentally found its mark from that distance, though.
Also available on Netflix, BTW.
