There are 'things' between heaven and earth (and I'm not talking about flying craft here), entirely created by human beings without most of them knowing it. Scary stuff indeed.
I don't understand why Chris was offended. Did he invent the Trickster concept?

I'm not offended! I didn't know to what you were referring to and no, I didn't invent the trickster, I'm suggesting we should re-define this important archetype. The nose hair comment was a "tricksterish" attempt at humor and a comment on your rather strange avatar :)

I tried to make the picture of the avatar look like it is looking up at the sky, at a UFO. Obvious to me, apparently not to others. I don't know if the collective subconscious is responsible for the manifestation of unexplained phenomena. I disagree with Jung's ideas. The jury is still out about the true nature, and origin of UFOs. I simply don't know.

Is that a quote from the book? It sounds like you are saying we are creating something like Trevor James Constables invisible sky creatures. Yikes.

That sounds like the "thoughtform" phenomena where your mind can create something very real.
Is anyone else familiar with the Eastern idea of thought forms?

We are all energy forms, bouncing it off each other. All that potential energy has to go somewhere. With us only understanding a small part of what our brains and our conscious minds can do, I think its entirely possible that our collective energy, positive and negative, can manifest itself in ways that we do not yet understand.

Not a quote, but I think I wrote something along the same lines before on here. I'm very much open to the idea that many so called phenomena people are experiencing are created by ourselves without us even knowing it, through our collective subconsciousness or another type of 'force' yet to be classified, if you will.

BUMP ! I finally got around to reading it. and I did not find it particularly compelling imho. I seem to recall at one time erik was to be a scheduled guest on the paracast What he was/is saying is not a whole lot different from what chris has spoken of except maybe we are a little more hands on, more (unconsciously) participatory and proactive than observational and reactive. as far as purchasing it, there is little there that isn't already on his older posts on his blog at ufo magazine and a couple of other places and to his credit erik quite freely admits to this. His writing is pretty philisophical and inward reflecting which is logical because of his theory, which is The trickster is us.

fwiw his site http://www.psychoterrestrial.com/
is gone and he like many others, outside of alfred, seem to be no longer blogging at UFO Magazine - UFO Magazine Blog

Hello! I had no idea that my work had actually become a topic of discussion on this honorable forum! Thank you for that. As far as my theoretical work and corresponding website are concerned, both are still alive and breathing. As a matter of fact, I've been picked up as a cast member for an up and coming Reality TV Show, the likes of which have not been aired yet. I cannot divulge the interested and invested network yet as I am under contract to not say as much but.....I keep regular updates about my work, my involvement with it and what can be expected on my website and Facebook. I will say that it has not been an easy journey thus far for me as has been the case with many others in this Field who are also experiencers but, it's not that I don't give up it's more like that the phenomenon itself will not let me go as I am still an avid, if not reluctant experiencer. In fact, the name of the show is Xperiencers. You can learn more about that here: Xperiencers. My website is still alive but the URL is different as I could no longer afford the domain so I let it go back to being: The Psychoterrestrial Theory of which it will remain until I can reacquire the dot com once again. I have, however stopped blogging in general on UFO Magazine Blog because of the all too prevalent scenario of Egos in the Field outshining the Phenomenon itself. I'm not about that nor will I ever be. Let's just say, that aside from some probable and short associations that will continue with said blog, I will not be there much aside from sharing equally short bits of information. I have aligned myself with others that put the research and exploration way ahead of their own persons, which has been my sole objective all along as there are several articles and statements that I have published over the years that will attest to as much. This, of course, has probably hurt any "popularity" I might have gained were I to "dance the dance" but again, I remain principled and true to the Walk I am Talking.......perhaps even to a fault. Someone however, has been listening and watching and so here I am again and as always, the Reluctant Experiencer/Philosopher. Thank you all dearly for your, if any, continued interest into my own and very intimate insights. They are only unique in so much as how I perceived them and experienced them and interpreted them. There is no "One Size Fits All" phenomenon....
