So after reading your post i was mulling over your points...good on you for distancing yourself from ufomag...i headed off to work. it's a short distance so i walk. At any rate i saw approaching a talkative neighbor that i didn't have time for and i didn't want to be dismissive of her so i headed down an adjacent alley and came across this mural below...you guys will have to trust me on this one as i didn't have a time/date stamp on


I've mentioned a number of times in this forum about my synchronicities, o.k. o.k. COINCIDENCES that seem to permeate my life on a regular basis, and more often than not, they occur when circumstances take me away from my norm. maybe it's supposed to be like that, this is the trickster at it's best, the way it prefers to work although it appears it may have decide to change the spelling of it's name. so maybe we should start spelling it trixster

furthurmore at the risk of coming off has a ham handed back-peddling twoface, i would like to put into context my previous post about your book. i in no way meant to dismiss your experiences and i can fully relate to them and different people would have different feelings on them. when i said i didn't find your offering particularly compelling i meant from the perspective of someone who was sold on this idea some time ago. at least in my circumstance you were preaching to the choir and initially when i first heard of your book i thought that you reached a new paradigim and i have for some time mulled our give and take relationship with the world around us and felt it was a two way street. I would say you probably leaned on this subject matter more than some, but i had heard others breach this subject so your major point was not really all that new to me. if i was sitting on the fence about the phenomenon and needed a push to accept such concepts your book would give me some encouragement. may i invite you to read a experience of mine that involved a mantis

If you pay attention closely, synchronicity is more the norm than a rarity. It's part of the lateral weave of life. Experiencing reality is just a series of patterns within patterns.

In a sense at one time I thought that paying close attention was skewing my results, that maybe I was looking too hard and in doing so I was bound to find patterns by forcing the issue, hence my occasional reluctance to allow myself a synchronistic event. But I do agree with you in one sense in that as I do go through intense periods of these events...seemingly tied to my capacity for dream recall... that the phenomenon strikes me as absolutely normal, that patterns we come across are the norm and not an enhanced power endowed to a few. Still sometimes I will come across one that knocks my socks off.
