Agreed and yes I knew that all of you here would be switched on, but I do meet many out there that are not and that frightens me a bit.

I am keeping a close eye on the Syria mess as it unfolds and I have seen much that is disturbing and many parallels of allied involvement in arming the militants etc.

Yes it is war by proxy that we saw all the way through the cold war.... same tactics.

Iran is a worry but I predict no movement against Iran until early next year unless (a) Israel makes a move (which I doubt as they would not have initial US backing), or (b) Iran takes the intuitive and strikes Israel (which they would not unless pushed extremely hard as the US and other Allied nations would become involved), and finally (c) false flag operation which is the most likely of the lot.

Before I get the well that wont happen just consider the following video.

I do not see this incident escalating but what just happened was the excuse NATO needs to pacify Syria and advance into that region.
But I see little if no US involvement until the end of next month. Got to get the Obama reelection over with first.
