Yes it's a British-developed plane used by RAF. But in U.S it's only used by USMC as far as know. Actually it's bound to be replaced by F-35 joint strike fighter, another awesome plane which is going to be used by both the Navy and Marines. I think it will also replace F/A - 18 hornets which are currently deployed on aircraft carriers.
