An open letter/challenge to UFO Digest/Nussbeck

This Nussbeck joke is another Bill Knell in my book. At least as bad as Knell, maybe even worse.

I think he deserves to be the next Paracast project.

He's not quite the slimeball as Knell, but he's certainly FOS. Arcesileus, that's one excellent post, and I'm already following up on some of that information. I'll be in touch.

You ask where "he" lives. According to this web page originally in Spanish (and here roughly translated by Yahoo/BabelFish):

http://babelfish.yahoo.com/translat...is-de-fotos-ovni/&lp=es_en&btnTrUrl=Translate

Ron Nussbeck is "...the director of an insurance agency that works in Scottsdale and Phoenix, Arizona,..."

This is handily close to the Arizonan MUFON director, Christine Dickey, with whom he seems to be working up some kind of partnership, of course, but I don't necessarily trust any of the information that he gives about himself.

Nevertheless, here is a profile of a Ronald Nussbeck working in insurance in Phoenix, Arizona:

http://www.linkedin.com/pub/6/723/44a

He is listed as the owner of the Discount Title Insurance Agency. It also gives his educational background as: Miramar College (San Diego) 1956 - 1984.

From this, and by way of an Arizona State government document, I have discovered that this Mr Nussbeck works from a home office in Scottsdale , and I have its precise address, but I won't give it out on the Web unless anybody needs it for legal reasons (and they can't find it for themselves).

No search engine that I have tried has discovered any link between Mr Nussbeck and Miramar College (other than those referring to his own profile), but I guess he does claim to have been there before the Internet became what it now is, so this probably proves nothing. It is curious, however, that he claims to have been at a two year community college for 28 years. I will not venture to suggest any possible explanations for this that come to mind (actually, there are many to choose from, but no evidence for any of them).
