Jacobsen may deserve this treatment, but manipulation in a news show is pretty crappy. I doubt they'd treat any legitimate paranormal author much better.

might have happened in the desert that day, albeit the wannabe space cadet’s necessity to confirm by proxy, it’s not surprising that someone with a different and un “alien” theory would be so scrutinized. Her personal and educational background is impressive, and no, even “one upping” the inferences on this forum as to yet another, "government cover-up” type author, hell bent on poo pooing what just has to be wrong, because it just doesn’t have Marvin the Martian in the formula; Annie Jacobsen doesn’t come across in her book as being an outright liar….
Aggrandizing her findings yes, but liar no.
- The Horten Brothers had vanished after World War Two and were then supposedly seen in Eastern held Soviet Germany, or at White Sands, or British occupied West Germany, or one sighting even had the two testing their latest type X (13) craft in the Urals. This, based on eyewitness accounts and not a proven fact.
- I stand by my theory that Kenneth Arnold saw an earlier prototype of the Horten GO 229 in formation over Mt. Rainier, but even if I am mistaken in this, there are still theories out there which are more probable than the usual, “Oh no, it had to be E.T…”..for instance: http://ufos.about.com/od/projectsign/a/projecttwinkle.htm and possibly sun glare or another natural anomaly.
- I have trouble believing Herr Mengele ever witnessed the inside of any Soviet held or occupied landscape, no less worked on deforming the human genome to create miniature “carbon based units” as the cone heads would say. If anyone ever watched The Boys From Brazil, this I think would have been more up his alley to attempt to achieve….although even cloning a Hitler in the late 40’s seems extreme.
Lastly, I do not believe the crash at Roswell was Soviet in nature as Jacobsen reports. I continue to believe that “if” it was anything of a "propulsion" type vehicle, it was terrestrial and most probably United States Military in origin. If as mentioned earlier, the Horten investment was looking like something which might develop into a fruition viable in today’s technology, it would have been tested and shown to be in need of re-vamping many times until we arrive at today’s stealth technology. George Knapp’s interview was interesting because he asked her an excellent question pertaining to the vehicle supposedly used by the Soviet Union crashing at Roswell that day, and that was, “Well if the Soviets used this form of technology in testing and such, then why aren’t they using the technology shown in their aircraft today?” Jacobsen basically evaded the question and then they went on to other aspects of the subject. My answer to it is quite simple….
Because it wasn’t the Soviet’s who crashed anything the Horten Brother’s developed that day, it was the United States who did.
And then eventually with trial and effort:
