Speaking of withholding info, what do you think about this new evidence the author associated with the UFOIconoclasts blog supposedly has that supports the ET explanation for Roswell. What I found interesting is that the RRR guy apparently doesnt buy the ET explanation, but finds this evidence extremely compelling.

But hes withholding for his new book.

Do you trust this guy? He (and RRRgroup) seem more credible than most, so Im almost hoping he has something good.

Its best to do nothing play X-box and get drunk, then remember what could have been, watch TV can play 5th string quarterback.

Let the government and private industry do whatever they darn want then we pay them taxes happily without complaining oh boy the true American way, those darn Bassett they are the ones guilty of lying to the American people, it could not be the NSA, or CIA, its those Bassett people.

I heard Dolan on c2c (Skipping past the nut-case Al Weber) talking about Basset when Dummy Jr.(Bush) was President that, "Bush is the perfect disclosure President so he can stay in power"! Dolan says he told Basset"What the hell have you been smokin"?

True True ... But Dolan, in my opinon, still is in the top 10 of living UFO researchers. At least in the ones who write books. Let's hope I can still say that when his book comes out. I also hope he as a sort of epiphany about the RETARDS he's been hanging out with the past couple of years.
 
I've just heard, via the Facebook grapevine, that Bassett is claiming to be $27,000 in debt after the X-Conference. He appears to have put out a call for assistance amongst his supporters, to help alleviate that debt. A few individuals are questioning the veracity of his claims.

For Fucks Sake! Can we officially remove all credence we have ever given this guy? How does announcing that he can't control the budget of a conference and now needs money instill faith that he can lobby the Gub'ment into disclosure? Its all BS man! I swear the people in this field get to be more and more like christian evangelists every day. The parralles are astonishing.
 
It costs money to hold those conventions. It costs money to get people to come to those things, and pay for their time. It's a MONEY MAKING VENTURE, and you gotta pay to play.

It's how the whole world works, and if he put on a conference that wasn't well attended, because it was CRAP, well he has only himself to blame, and should bite that $27,000 bullet, and live with the mistake that he made.

He's sounding more and more like Hillary Clinton every day.
 
Call me gullible but I actually believe he in 27k in debt. But I also believe he expected this, and its not a sudden "oh shit were in trouble here" thing.

From what I can gather from interviews and other media, its a cycle that repeats itself every year.

Whats not clear is how much Bassett pays himself out of donations. Dude doesnt have a day job right? Thats insane if true. Rich Dolan (despite the varied opinions) is likely one of the highest earners in the UFO 'field' with lectures and many conferences, yet even Rich still has a day job.

How does Bassett do it?
 
Bassett is apparently as talented at fundraising, as he is in choosing credible, productive guests for the X-Con. He's a lobbyist who has NEVER met with a senator or congressperson, or any of their aides. 'Nuff said.
