I haven't sat down and read it cover to cover yet. Not really that sort of book though, it's basically a miniature version of a coffee table book in format, one patch on the left page, description and interpretation on the right. The book is very small, and is only 135 pages, for $22.95. Part of that is likely due to the actual patch stuck to the front cover. Had this been published more like a technical manual or guidebook, it probably could have been almost half the price. But then it wouldn't have gotten reviewed by Wired, NYTimes, or Colbert Report, and would not have reached a lot of its audience.
Very interesting. They're pretty much all air technology based and at least half of them involve Groom Lake. Yes, Janet Airlines is there. And yes, a few do sport "gray" alien icons. My biggest complaint would probably be the minimal information on when the patches date to. A few entries include that info, the author may simply not know. But that would make this an even more interesting book.
