Not my opinion. .FACT..
1. Independent 3rd parties tacked Apollo to the moon
2. The Russians tracked apollo to the moon.
3. The landing sites were photographed in detail
4. Over 17,000 worked on apollo not a one said it was a hoax
5. Passages thu the van allen belt did little harm...

Sure, i won't deny that there are robots on the moon , like the mars rovers are on Mars ... true , but all the images we have taken on the moon can also be done by a robot right ? , Why would the commander of the ISS say that earth's orbit is the furthest we can go ? for us humans it's maybe the furthest , but what if we only see images from the moon taken by a robot like onr mars ?

I really think it's a possibility that they only have send rovers to the moon , but no humans yet .... if they can put humans on the moon , then why haven't they done it the last 40 years ?
At this moment the ESA and the russian space agency toghether are making plans to go to the moon, because they think that ther's water at the poles of the moon .

so why didn't they go back a litlle earlier ? if they have been there allready then it won't be that difficult to go back don't you think.

I watched the video and unless it was the greatest NASA slip-up ever, the astronaut talking is no doubt referring to what capability NASA has right now. Shuttles are grounded forever and never went far out anyway, all to-ing and fro-ing to the ISS is done on Russian rockets. NASA just does not have working, ready to go Saturn V rockets that went to the moon, so these capabilities need to be rebuilt basically and the money and impetus that existed in the 60's unfortunately just isn't there nowadays. It's 2 steps forward, 3 steps back sometimes...

Its a very ill-informed opinion to consider the Apollo missions as a hoax...good thing the scientific method gives us a way to weed them out...and if you have the time, please read one who has managed to do just that on this subject:

If anything, learn the terminology or at the very least find something wrong with the analysis.

With China and India making noises about going to the Moon and Mars, the US seems deathly quiet on the subject. It almost makes me think that we might have secret projects that at least established a base on the Moon and perhaps a voyage has already been made to Mars.

Normally the US government would make a big stink if another country was going to claim that planetary real estate.

I honestly don't understand why in the face of evidence you chose to believe we never went. why universeseeker why do you doubt?

so the astronauts WERE in the capsule! and keep in mind having proved they WERE IN the capsule the Russians TRACKED Apollo EVEY INCH of the way! 3rd party tracked them they were seen going in they had NO EXIT. millions watched the launch!

NASA provided footage, confirming NASA's moon landing isn't exactly compelling or independent. Hopefully, when the Russians get a guy on the moon we will have more information. Unfortunately, according to a recent Space Magazine article (Russia Aims for Manned Moon Landing by 2030), the Russians say they won't have the ability to do this until at least 2030, a date the editors called "overly ambitious." You would think that with all of the advancements made in technology since the 1960's, other countries would have followed our lead and landed a man on the moon, just like they followed our lead on rovers, space satellites, nuclear technology and medical break-throughs. Curiously, getting a man on the moon is one of the few American accomplishments that has never been duplicated or really even independently confirmed. Today we see private industry, using modern technology and all of the information gained from our 60+ years of space exploration losing rockets just trying to get into low-earth orbit, a mere 500 miles up. Just for comparison sake, the moon is several hundred THOUSAND miles up.

Regardless, others have pointed out how the Russians "tracked" the entire mission. Perhaps they tracked something, perhaps we made them think they were tracking something, who knows. However, the Russians are no longer falling back on this "fact" and are actually challenging our contention of landing on the moon. I guess many officials are no longer as compelled by this "tracking" proof as many of you are.
