Coast to Coast (w/ Jacques Vallee )

These days I only tune into Coast to Coast when there is a really compelling guest, or when they schedule a host with an IQ over 19 ( Like George Knapp )

Well last night Jacques Vallee was on. It is beyond me how Priemere radio can disgrace this man by putting him up with George Noory. This guy is simply retarded. I'm sorry I know that's not very PC but I don't really have any other words for it.

Some "highlights" ...

After a real interesting case in Brazil that includes a doctor treating 100s of patients, numerous sightings he follows up with this ridiculous comment "What is truly fascinating Jacques that no matter what conclusions we draw from any of these it's truly outstanding whatever is going on. WTF !?! No follow up just this brainlesss, canned banter.

"What about angels, demons?" - In true form Gn threw this in

Asked Jacques to spell "stratagem"

Much more stupidity went down. Guy is such a dunce. Do you think there is any way to get this guy off the air? Does such a disservice to the topic.

I know, I know, I'm beating a dead horse here:cool:

Put in Feb 13th, 12AM and hit go!

Interview starts at 13mins in.

This is the SECOND time Vallee's been on that damned show within a few short months. What the Klaatu is he playing at?

Let's hope G & D haven't given up trying to lure him onto the Paracast.

OMG - I'm listening to this car crash of an interview from last night, someone just called in and asked about lights on the moon, and, oh, kill me, I'm dying, Jeremy, are you there, Noory just asked Vallee..

if the lights...

Oh, jeeez, I'm dying of laughter...

Snoory asked...

WHAT ABOUT ANGELS, DEMONS?

Jesus H. Christmas Jew, oh my lord, give me some air, this is tooooooo funny.

Snoory is a MORON.

He's got Vallee, and he asked about ANGELS.

:eek::D:eek:

I've got to turn this off...

Even Jacques Vallee couldn't entice me to listen.

Though I suppose it might have been interesting for Vallee to test his control hypothesis against the rot that that show epitomizes.

I had the same reaction as Biedny, wtf is with him and fucking angels?

Just finished it, there's nothing worthwhile here IMO.

Do they even bother to screen the caller's questions? People asking him about out of body stuff and why they didn't tell people about 911 before it happened...sheesh!

icculus, sorry, I just noticed that you had mentioned the "angels & demons" comment already...

It really IS disgraceful. What a total waste of Vallee'sa time. Man-oh-mighty.

I implore all Paracasters to email Vallee's publisher here:

anomalistbooks@gmail.com

And PLEASE be respectful, otherwise they'll ignore us.

Tell them how much you'd like to hear us speak with Dr. Vallee, have an actual conversation about his thoughts and work, instead of asking about Roswell, spelling bees and angels on the frikkin moon.

Pretty please! :exclamation:

Hello,

I listened to the Coast to Coast interview of Jacques Vallee, and was quite disappointed with the questions that were asked of such an esteemed scientist of the UFO phenomenon. As a serious investigator, he deserved better.

Please ask Mr. Vallee to consider an interview with a radio program that follows his scientific perspective and logical investigation, at The Paracast. You can reach them at news@theparacast.com . They have interviewed other major players in the UFO field many times including Stanton Friedman and Richard Dolan, and have expressed their interest in the honor of talking to him.

Thank you for your consideration.

Hello everyone...
Please if you will answer this question...How many of you have attended a live event for promotion of C2C with GN as man in charge? If so, what have you discerned while being in his presence? Without going into the dislikes of ego...has anyone
discerned who/what GN is? I look forward to your replies...

I cannot wait to hear this. Perhaps after hearing the angels & demons question I shall form a support group for ex C2C guests.

In the meantime, someone in Paracast land, please create an audio montage of all the Noory angel questions set to Gregorian Chants. I'd love to use that on my show. Better yet, don't. You'll only be hurting yourself.

For those of you who haven't had enough of the Snoor yet, check out this spoof of him:

It's ABSOLUTELY brilliant. Wish we could send it to Jacques.

Valiens, you'll totally relate to it.

Enjoy!

dB...I was specific...I'm asking do you discern who/what GN is?
Have you attended a C2C meeting or live broadcast to discern?
If you do not know what discern is...it's clarity in something
more than what you see physically or hear.

I'll see your GN and raise you a reptile treat.

I used to listen to Art Bell, as far back as the early 90s when his show was only available on the Net. He used to run a pretty entertaining show. When Noory took over, I tried to enjoy the show, but I never listen anymore. RIP Coast to Coast AM. The Paracast has filled a void.

Noory has got to be the worst radio interviewer out there. Rather than ask insightful questions, he constantly throws out these generic comments suitable for any interview. Almost as if he can't come up with any on on topic questions of his own.

Vallee did have some interesting things to say about the hoaxed UFO films of Meier.

Well said. Let me just say this. One striking thing I've noticed about the Paracast: Guests frequently begin answering a question by saying:

"That's a very good question."

I often find myself thinking the same way as I'm listening. It's the hallmark of good talk radio; we're all following the story. We're not wasting our time.

The great host(s) listens to the guest, engages the guest, challenges the guest, milks the guest for everything they've got, congratulates the guest on their truly positive successes - without resorting to obsequiousness - then turns around and - without being egregiously harsh - plays hardball with the guest when he/she turns too soft.

The great host(s) lets the guest take off when they're on a roll, then reels them in and asks probing questions when they begin to blow too hard... all of these concepts are what make for good talk radio, and the Para-2 seem to consistently do it very well.

Fuckin' good show.
