Dark Matters RETURNS!

Free episodes:

We are listening and loving it [ on archive in uk ].

Ryan and Ward need some sort of Knights of the Realm honour for service to Matters Dark, come on the US listeners bite the bullet and call in!

Also, It might seem like Ryan and Ward are the only guys listening since they are the only ones who ever seem to call in, but I'm sure a lot of people out there are like myself and enjoy the show but prefer not to talk on the air.

Count me in. I listen to the archives because I am on the US east coast and am an early riser, so I can't stay up late for the live broadcast. Thanks for doing the show Don AND for having the archives.

Thanks itsthenoise hopefully with the new phone system cyberstation is putting in there will be an 800 number so anyone can call in and talk to Don's and his guests. It's a whole different experience getting to ask all of these keen people in this field interesting questions. It would be great to hear some of the other loyal listeners worldwide as well call in.

Part of why I enjoy doing radio so much is because of the interaction with the listening audience. Back in my previous foray's into radio I had a really engaged audience. I must say, with the ((IMHO) quality of guests I have hosted, it is a "FREAKEN" mystery to me why more people do not call into the show. Sitting here behind the Mic each night, sometimes I wonder if anybody is even listening? Oh, I know people download the shows from CyberstationUSA over weeks and months, but as I do each show I keep asking myself if anybody hears it?

This has been and is a labor of love, this radio thing, and the feedback I do get is positive, but it is labor. I do not have any kind of staff, I do it all from booking the guests, running the boards, handling the calls I do get, keeping an eye on the clocks and hoping I don't have any technical problems. And up to this point ... I have done it all for free.

So far i have only managed to call in once. If the show was aired at a time that was in the evening in the UK, I would have called loads, but the fact is when i am listening to it, its on my ipod whilst I am hastily getting ready for work at 6am. Not only is it difficult for me to stop and call in, but at that time in the morning my brain isnt working fast enough to be good conversation.
I always love the friday shows (aired 6am Saturday morning where I am) and would love to call in more, but as I tend to go out on the town a lot on Fridays (its a work hard play hard thing), i usually am either lying in bed barely able to move (let alone talk) due to my hangover or I listen to it on download at a later date due to me not being awake at all for the show.

I have listened to every single show however, most of the time live.

Despite people on here often thinking of me as a debunker, I have actually had quite a few experiences that 'could' be perceived as paranormal (including a couple almost identical to Dana's dad's whispering ghost experience and a close up black triangle sighting) which I keep meaning to tell on the show... but at until now the chance has eluded me!

One of these days....

Either way, you have given me 100's of hours of interesting listening Don, and for that I thank you

Thanks, Monsieur Ecker. They should give Larry King's job to you. I don't always agree with you, but you have a clear point of view, you can take a bit of bullshit, keep on smiling AND follow up with good questions. You're a ton of fun to listen to, and your guests are top notch. I don't care if there are a few tech issues here and there, it's all about content and delivery and you have those in spades. So really, I guess they shouldn't give you Larry King's job. Just his pay and his audience. That'd be just fine. Tip of the hat, and thanks. Keep up the good fight.

So, When will NEW podcasts of Dark Matters be coming out??????????????
I appreciate the old stuff but how many times can you re-listen to this stuff?????

Why davidg, as soon as you buy me a new broadcast computer. Maybe you can swing that this weekend? To tell you the truth, I am getting sick and tired of waiting for CyberstationUSA to hussle it up.

Maybe you should just record a podcast and post it on iTunes. Seems that your network isn't going to get it together.

I can help you set it all up.

Would that I could big guy! ..but till I wind the Lotto, it'll have to wait. I was just curious if that was STILL what was holding things up?? or perhaps you got a better paying gig elsewhere? ;-)

Did you explore the crowd/listener funding option for your computer Don?

I'm not much help I'm afraid in knowing exactly how to go about it but I'm sure someone here on the board would know, I do know for sure that others have raised funds this way and if it's $2000 or so then maybe that figure's attainable?

I'd definitely contribute.
