David, The ET Theory?

Free episodes:

I was also only having fun screaming treky at you. Maybe conventinal wasn't the exact word I was looking for. I think a better word would be world view. Think about some of the episodes where the aliens spoke English or had a universal translator. The Star Tek crew had the same type of hieraechy system as we do in our military and so did most of the aliens. when they would land on a planet they were always able, at least that is what I remember, to breath the air and handle the environment.

And talk about getting off topic... kind of.

I was never a treky, lol, perish the thought more to the fact however, i was interested in the idea behind it for eg, the science, and idea of space exploration, and the methods used to achieve there goals by way of the technology they had available in the 24th century. The concept is compelling, dont you think?

Well the idea is science fiction, and is man made product of our imagination. But could the idea become reality, or come to fruition a thousand years or more from now?.look if he we had the technology today to move off this planet and explore, by heck we would be doing it!

So look at ufos and there occupants are they explorers from a distant world or something else, do they travel space, time and even dimensions. But since they are "Alien" there agenda or goals are probably very different from us?

I watched a few episodes here and there but i wouldnt say i was a big fan if you no what i mean?
DS9 saw four to five episodes it was ok.

Battlestar Galactica is the only scifi show I watch. Its pretty goddam good too, and I have a really high bar when it comes to what I condone as far as TV shows go. Its usually HBO or nothing for me.

I have one big problem with the Inter Dimensional theory -

That is if dimensions could be controlled that they can "move" into any space and time why do they predominately manifest in the stratosphere?
Why don't they materialise at ground level, or say 20 meters in the air?

Always in the stratosphere - The interface between Earth and Space!!

Usually first instincts can be quite reliable - and like the Native American tribes seeing massive vessels coming in from the Atlantic in 1490's it should make sense that they were coming from the Eastern Atlantic Seaboard.

I also have problems with the ET idea -

So ET's maybe, but the idea with speed and light to the nearest star is also one that I have deep problems with - einsteins theory of relativity and speed of light etc.. No - I don't accept it/can't see the possibility.

Then you have the interference with Nuclear devices/Military infrastructure - If they were from interstellar distances - so much to explore - why care about this little region in space.

My theory now is moving towards - there a little bit closer than we think!

And just like every nosey neighbour, they like to peak through the curtains every now and then.
