I don't know this comedian. It's kinda funny, he should work on the accent a little more for better effect. I like the "Silence!" part for some reason.

Outside of "A...c...phlegm" - painful. But at least I now know it's not just black audiences that laugh at absolutely nothing funny. Years of Def Comedy Jam had me worried.

He's Jeff Dunham (dot commmm...).

You mean Jefuh-FAH... DUN-haaaaaaaaaam..... dot commmmm, dontcha?

And don't judge the man on one segment, Jeremy, you should watch his whole act, he's hi-fucking-larious!

I'm not a fan of the act. I can see the funny side and believe me, I have a sense of humor but this act blows dogs for spare change

I mean his WHOLE act with all the different puppets. Not of course that humour isn't highly personal, so naturally it won't appeal to everyone.

I haven't seen his whole act. I'm referring to the on posted here. I was watching some of his other acts on youtube an he's ok. I'm sure he's a funny guy but the whole Ahmed terrorist routine is about as original as Michael Jackson's facial features and as old and tired as Liza Monelli.

Nahh its not flippant and its really not all that funny (ventriloquists never are ... they pretty high up on the crap-ometer in my opinion next to pretty much all street entertainer-types) ... its borderline racist or anti-islamic but its not flippant.

Sighh ... it seems its pretty ok in this day and age to take a shot at those evil "terrorists" (a media invention maybe??? nahhh they are real, they must be ... i saw one on tv once ... and no, I'm not saying terrorism is a good thing before your bowels prolapse in astonishment) and of course those nasty people with what seem to be tea-towels or some other strange drying garment on their heads ... who are of course, indeed all "terrorists".

Well in that case I should be honest my Paracast friends ... I've been to Iran. I've had a sit down dinner with terrorists. Oh my god, I've bought a carpet off one ... shit ... maybe I should check it to see if there's a bomb in it somewhere??

Oh my good god ... I helped one of them speak English a little better ... they'll be able to get on a plane now (and with very little training and ability) maybe fly this highly complex flying machine perfectly into a building or indeed one of the most highly defended military establishments in the world at a seriously low altitude at a seriously high speed that is to all intents and purposes pretty near damned impossible ... and all this with a freaking towel on his head.

I could go on and on and on and on and on ... but I'm not going to ... whats the point?. You can't change peoples minds on things like this. If they're going to be mind bogglingly stupid and think that all the terroristic horrors in the world are down to them nasty "Ay-rabs" ... well for one thing, we're all stuffed ... and two ... they're too stupid to open their eyes and ears and see the world for what it is.

schtick ... with yet another het up rant trying to fight this truly truly stupid arab-bashing disease, and hoping for all his might that it isn't contagious.

For me the "Joke" was seeing the "Silence................ I Keeeel You" mindset in the context of being dead, you dont have to be arabic to have that mindset, ive seen it in pakastani and afghani religeous extreemists as well.

there is actually nothing funny about a real live person saying silence i keeel you and meaning it, but the skeleton and the eyebrows softened the message from one to fear ,to one to laugh at

Sorry ... I just can't get past the sniggering at the dead Arab thing to see the humour in it. I have a feeling that the audience didn't think in the way you did about what this guy was presenting as comedy. I just see it as another stupid attempt at arab-bashing. Maybe I'm the reincarnation of Lawrence of Arabia ... I mean, after all I do hate motorbikes :P

(for those who don't know, T E Lawrence died when his motorbike crashed, and some think may have been murdered ...)

Then having something stuck up their butt is apparently not limited to puppets.

Seriously man (and you should know that I almost NEVER say this), lighten up.

I agree with schticknz

I grew up in a community where we were all minorities thrown together right off the boat in the worst areas and constantly targeted, abused, spat on and physically attacked etc. We were openly portrayed in the media as dumb, corrupt foreigners. I co-exist with everyone with no problem or bitterness. I understand people didn't understand the cultures they were faced with back in the day. We've all moved on. I was fortunate to be in the middle of a melting pot of so many rich cultures.

I see why people take offense to this sort of humor and it's easy to "lighten up" when you aren't exposed to the other end of the joke.

I can appreciate this guy's humor. I can understand why people would find it funny but please understand, this humor isn't regarded funny for a lot of reasons. Mainly because it is low and falsely stereotypical.

There's plenty of unintelligent humor out there. This is one great example.

How dare people frown upon my right to laugh uproariously at crude stereotypes.

If you can't laugh at people who are different to you (although you must be careful if they are more powerful than you but if you live in the dominant global power it doesn't matter) then what the hell can you laugh at?

I'm on your side CapnG. It was funny. End of story.

The estrogen level in this thread is off the charts. Back to yoga classes and knitting for the lot of ya!

Now that really is funny (in an ironic, 'absurd barroom asshole' kinda way, natch:)).

First off i am deeply sorry that this has caused any offence for some
that was never the intent.
as a lad it was the irish who were the terrorists and of course irish jokes were then the order of the day

paddy "what happens if the bomb on the back seat goes off before we get to the target"
micheal "its ok ive got a spare one in the boot"

i think people naturally start joking about things that disturb them as a sort of pressure valve mechanism

working for the new south wales govt for 11 years where equal opertunity employment is almost the state religion i was priveledged to work with people from all corners of the globe and all walks of life

im not anti semetic or anti any genotype, i personally cherish our cultural and genetic diversity on a global level and our multicultural melting pot on the local level

heinleins "stranger in a strange land" expolores human humour and its true the vast majority of jokes are about the misfortune of others.

it seems very human to me, to be able to laugh in the face of misfortune

again my intent was to make you chuckle and in the instances where that didnt happen i offer my sincere apoligy

Mike, I am deeply offended that you are apologizing to the touchy-feely PC police on here. Being so easily guilted into writing a mea culpa over something so stupid is very sad and deeply disturbing.

So please apologize to me for refusing to stand by your original post.
