Dennis Kucinich had a UFO encounter

Free episodes:

I like a lot of Kucinich's views and thinks he is pushing for (impeachment and a new 9/11 investigation). I would support him more if he did not want to BAN guns.

Kucinich just admitted during the presidential debate that he did, in fact, see a UFO. I'm not sure if he was then joking when he said he was going to move his campaign headquarters to New Mexico & Exeter, New Hampshire because he said it in the same way he delivered the sentences before and after saying that. If he was joking, it's a very telling quip because although everyone knows what New Mexico is a reference to, you have to be very familiar with ufology to get the Exeter quip.

In any event, he admitted to it and I'm both happy and sad. Happy to see this subject dealt with seriously if for only a few seconds, if only for Steve Bassett to cream himself tomorrow morning in his newsletter. Sad because this was the end of the "debate," which consisted of this question, followed by "Is there life in outer space" followed by a question about caner written in by lance Armstrong, ended by "What Halloween costume will you be wearing?"

My roommate, Brian, had just sat down not knowing what was on TV. "This is a debate?" he asked incredulously. Indeed. In America, this is the kind of stuff that passes for debate. My only surprise is that there was a question from Lance Armstrong and not Lance Bass.

Kucinich was asked if he'd seen a UFO during tonight's debate and did admit, to laughter, that he'd seen an unidentified object (triangular). But during the MSNBC wrapup, Chris Matthews could hardly contain himself. How could anyone actually believe such a thing - let alone admit it during a presidential race?

It was very interesting when he asked Bill Richardson the same question. Bill said that "there was no credible evidence" and that he didn't actually believe in UFOs. As governor, he only wanted to help promote UFO-related tourism in the state. He did say that the government hasn't come clean. But when pressed, he said that the government should lay everything out to prove their case that there are no UFOs. Wasn't he one of the preferred disclosure candidates? 8)

"Isn't he the guy with the inexplicably hot wife?"

Who, in addition, has a pierced tounge.
But I'm interested in the UFO he saw. . .
The journos really treated it like a bunch of children, don't know why I would expect anything more. They remind me of a bunch of dumb-ass jocks all grown up. What a sad little nation.

He's straight forward enough about it for what it's worth (ie look up, see something you don't recognize = UFO) and chuckles about it but rest assured it will be all "little green men" and "anal probes" come tomorrow's news cycle...

This one includes an interview with Bill Richardson. I doubt he will become the "disclosure candidate" that Bassett and others expect. Neither will Hillary Clinton. She's a total establishment shill and will do anything her owners say.

Looks like you were correct about Kucinich wanting to ban guns, Cottonzway.

I found this a while ago.

I am unhappy about this. Kucinich, I think, is far and away the best candidate for president.

But I also think that guns may be the only thing standing between us and pigs in Darth Vader masks knocking down our doors and dragging us to death camps.

Still, this bill will never pass. Even if it did, the supreme court would probably declare it unconstitutional for violating the 2nd amendment. This makes me think that Kucinich is still the best candidate right now. He's a pacifist, yes, but perhaps that is exactly what we need to prevent WWIII.

Don't you think, Cotton, that totally abandoning this guy on these grounds alone is careless? This handgun bill will never pass.

I see you are a Ron Paul supporter. I like him okay, too. I especially like his wanting to obliterate the IRS and the Federal Reserve. That's swell. But, like Kucinich, he's not perfect either. Ron Paul wants to close the Deptartment of Education. No more federal student loans, no more Pell Grant, basically no more federal aid to help pay for college. If it weren't for the DOE, I would never have been able to afford either college or graduate school. Moreover, Paul wants to do away with Medicare and Medicade, for christ's sake. Clearly these programs aren't perfect, but banning them will leave millions of senior citizens, including my grandfather, without adequate medical care. So, it's a matter of balancing advantages and disadvantages. My money is still on Kucinich.

On the gun issue....

Why do you think (whoever wants to answer this) that people with tanks, nukes, and "nonlethal" antennae weaponry who are trained to kill with these weapons care whether you have a gun or not? If they wanted to march into your home they'd do it.

Jeremy:

Aha - something we agree on. ;)

I have never understood people who think that owning a gun (or even several) would help you if "the government" (i.e. the "bad guys") really wanted to take over. Honestly...

As for Kucinich and / or Paul, they have no chance of ever being elected President, so they can pretty much say whatever they want.

Paul

On Kucinich and UFOs and the debate, see my comments at: http://redstarfilms.blogspot.com/2007/11/kucinich-ufos-and-media.html

An excerpt:

The debate was a good thing for "ufology" (and even for people interested in the serious study of the UFO phenomenon). Yes, there was some laughter from some in the audience, which just shows that there are Democrats who are as stupid as Republicans (did anyone who lived through the Carter presidency really doubt this?). Still, you have to walk before you can run, which in the case of the UFO phenomenon means that you're still going to have to put up with some chuckles every now and then. The way to silence the chuckles is to use facts and figures, and to point out that some very bright people have seen UFOs over the years, along with a pretty significant number of their fellow Americans.

That's not a bad place to start the process of re-building the public image of the UFO phenomenon.

I never thought I'd say or write this, but good for Dennis Kucinich.

Yep. Just look how it saved William Cooper who had a gun fetish.

I get irritated when I see someone who doesn't want to ban guns, wanting to ban video games. It's like George Carlin points out. There's been bans, or at least people wanting to ban certain toy guns, but we keep the real ones.

If a small percentage of gun owners resist during a martial law scenario, their combined strength will make a difference.

And, of course, banning guns would not actually solve the problem of gun ownership. Most people who use guns for criminal activity acquire them illegally already, just like marijuana. It would go even more underground.

As for Kucinich or Paul not having a chance, you've got me there. Even though the odds makers have recently changed Paul from a 66/1 to a 12/1, some branch of a lesser known intelligence agency will probably JFK him if he actually presents a challenge. As for Kucinich, he probably knows that he hasn't a chance of getting elected. He ran for public office many times and lost before he began winning elections. He's only 51. In 2020 or 2024, he may have a chance. Right now he's campaigning for one of those elections, building his popularity.

Actually, Kucinich is 61, which is what makes his wife such a news story - he's twice her age (good for him, I say).

In terms of people owning guns in a martial law scenario, I'm afraid I have to disagree with you there. A handgun or a hunting rifle are no match for an APC. Frankly, any country that allows its citizens to have ready access to the kind of assault weapons you would need is probably a country that could use a good spell of martial law. ;)

Why would Ron Paul be assassinated? He's a Reaganite through and through. What? One republican stands up and says "This war was crap" and suddenly he's a folk hero? I don't get it. This, my dear friend from the North, is an example of America moving to the right so that the right looks like the middle.
