Dennis Kucinich had a UFO encounter

Free episodes:

Politicians rarely have their actions match their words, so I no longer take much notice of what they say. Yes, it's very hard for me to vote, so hard I haven't yet. But I try to look at actions, so far I always wind up wanting to put a comedian in office over the ones who are candidates. Which is a joke in an ideal world. But the world we live in is a joke, so better call in Carlin or Lewis Black. Or break out the Ouija board and ask for Bill Hicks.

Why would Ron Paul be assassinated? He's a Reaganite through and through. What? One republican stands up and says "This war was crap" and suddenly he's a folk hero? I don't get it. This, my dear friend from the North, is an example of America moving to the right so that the right looks like the middle.

Probably for the same reason that they tried to assassinate president Reagan. He's an outsider.

Wow, I forgot about this thread. :)

Would I not support Kucinich based on that one point? Yes. I still think he is a decent man and has some good ideas, but the fact that he can't grasp the 2nd amendment means he should not be our president, IMO.

I totally disagree with the notion that banning guns would not lead to a martial law situation nor that it is keeps such a situation from happening. Strenght in numbers. If a situation ever happened in this country where martial law happened such an armed public would back off any such attempt. Most of those who have arms in law enforcement and the military would not support such a vile thing and their guns would be included among the masses. If you don't think such a thing COULD happen in the US then you are being naive. History showed us that governments can go batshit crazy and kill millions of people. History tends to repeat itself.

As for Ron Paul, I got a chuckle out of reading the "he has no chance" comments. Have people been following the races on the left and right? His support is stronger then ANY other canidate and it's all grassroots. It's not just the "internet" either as supports put their money where their mouths are. Just look at the money he brought in last quarter.

Also the comments about someone killing him should be taken seriously. He is NOT a new Regan, as I never heard Regan say he wanted to get rid of the Fed, IRS, CIA, ect. You think any of those people want him to win? Do you think the military industrial complex, who makes billions off of blood, wants him to win? I hope he is safe and if nothing happens to him his biggest challenge will come against Diebold.

On the gun issue....

Why do you think (whoever wants to answer this) that people with tanks, nukes, and "nonlethal" antennae weaponry who are trained to kill with these weapons care whether you have a gun or not? If they wanted to march into your home they'd do it.

Bingo. Although in point of fact this makes a gun ban a non-issue. Let Linus keep his saftey blanket for all the good it'll do him.

In this vein, there is a CNN snippet of Jimmy Carter talking about his UFO sighting. What bugs me the most is his declaration that it is impossible for people to come here from other planets....impossible. Nice open mind Jimmy Boy. How the hell would he know what is or is not possible in this realm?

Recent LA Times op-ed on Kucinich's UFO encounter.

"In the debate, Kucinich made a self-deprecating joke about moving his campaign headquarters to "Roswell, New Mexico, and another one in Exeter, New Hampshire." Roswell everybody knows about, but with the easy reference to the 1965 Exeter incident, Kucinich leaves the impression that he's not just a UFO witness, he's a buff.

Let him go on, and we suspect Kucinich will soon be expanding on the Kecksburg sightings, the Val Johnson incident, Lonnie Zamora, the "Kaikoura lights" and countless other visitations from the sky that continue to sustain our nation's sense of mystery."
