I don't know Lizt, but I'm not too sure about this. There certainly is a level of musicianship here, and a fluidity, but it's nothing paranormal in level. I don't think this really proves anything other than that Fagerstrom can play piano.

There are several processors you can run this through and it will give you the notes, but again I don't think this proves anything in particular.

Not good enough to be some sort of repressed savant; too good to have played without some sort of music training, formal or not.

It is kind of pretty.

I've seen Fagerstrom's charts and pictures in that recent issue of UFO magazine, and honestly I was a little more impressed with them.
 
There seems to be a few intelligent musicians out there...just dropping a loose idea here, but what do you guys think about the idea of a Paracast audience musical collaboration...the Paracasters?...I'm a decent guitarist and arranger...with modern technology, there's no reason we couldn't collaborate and exchange tracks online. I just listened to a couple minutes of the recording, I agree with the general consensus that while it does show an ability to play piano that someone who has never played would not have, it also is not some shimmering ray of cosmic channeling that has opened up my third eye :)

In my non piano playing, unexperienced classical music listening opinion, it sounds pretty sloppy, but also not a beginner either. From a guitar standpoint it sounds like someone who is a mid level guitar player trying to play something that is just beyond their capabilities like some West Montgomery piece or something.

The drawings Dean made were interesting as well but............

in terms of extremely compelling evidence to back up channeling claims, the Arigo case, while not an 'alien' channeling case, blows this guy out of the water with an atomic bomb.

Can't say I'm very impressed so far with this case.

I decided to listen to it again a while ago . I kind of got a weird feeling come over me and there was a blowing in my ears ,it was fucking weird. It could have been anything so dont think i am looking for attention, it was kind of weird ,that is all i am going to say. i turned it off straight away i was kind of scared by the shock of that ear blowing sensation. i listened to about twenty nine minutes of it.

If you pause the recording and reverse it at 1x speed at the point 6:66secs there is all this weird guttural talking in some weird language Ive never heard.

It was creepy though.

I think this stuff is too weird for me. I am curious to go back listening to it again, but i probably will not. My reasons that feeling i got was weird and the blowing sensation in my right ear was not comfortable to me it give me a unease.However it could have been anything, the human has reactions to stuff sometimes so i am open to the possibility that was merely my mind playing tricks on me. How my brain was able to give me a sensation of breathing or blowing in my ear is kind of difficult for me to comprend.

The 6:66 seconds gave it away and the reverse speach thing It was aparently a joke but joking around when somebody is scared doesn't always work.

Yes it was a joke, but a joke that was little bit dry.I glanced over the post once last night and once dismorning.Sometimes people write minutes like he did 6.62 As a example.I didnt notice the joke however, i have to be honest with everyone . It was a joke about 666 or demon voice at 666. I think is what he meant , I cant really say what he meant for sure.I was scared but not frightened Ally thanks.:)
 
I have to apologize for being so immediately dismissive of this piece. I think the crappy sound quality, combined with the fact that I listened to it at lower volume the first time, contributed to my initial luke-warm appraisal of this piece. Timbre, which many of us electric guitar players mistakenly call tone, is a vitally important quality of what our brains percieve as musical "quality". The timbre of the piano in this recording sucks. His rhythmic timing is a little clumsy here and there (supporting the claim that he has no classical training) but generally very sophisticated...harmonically, I am finding it ever more interesting ('frop helps). I'm hearing a little Debussy and Stravinsky thrown into the mix. I sat around for the entire length of 'Robot Monster' (the best bad film ever), with the volume turned off, and played my guitar along with it for a few rounds. The way the melody fluctuates between major/minor/diminished/wholetone throughout it's course is quite interesting musically. I'd like to hear a real player, properly recorded, execute this piece. I wouldn't even want to begin the task of transcribing it...huge amount of labor. There is definitely "something" here, though...even if it's just some whacky, full-o'-shit, lying, loser trying to pawn off a fib...some beauty still lurks within it.
 
I finally got a chance to listen to this as my Internet has been capped for the past week (lame Aust Internet - we dont get any where near the amount of monthly data that other countries do).

Anyway, the dude is obviously playing it. Im convinced he taught himself to play what he was playing there.... I bet he just fiddled around playing things that didnt seem to clash. Honestly, the technique was pretty shoddy. If this was being channeled from ANY higher source why would it be so amateurish sounding? Surely it would be at a prodigious level.

(Im a musician too - sax player.)

This seems to be the heart of the issue. I'm gonna throw an idea out here: IIIIIIIF there's an intelligence channeling this to him it could be limited by the fact that he doesn't know how to play. Maybe he's a faulty instrument. (I'm basing this on the experience of that "ti chi energy" thing that moves me around. That's real and yet clearly I'm no Jackie Chan. But what would it look like if this energy applied itself to Jackie Chan?)

Dude I still think you should try playing a musical instrument next time the energy overcomes you. Could be interesting.

If you could use an omnipotent force to channel superhuman talents through you and you could choose how to use it but you only had like 30 mins to use it and very little warning beforehand, what activity would you choose?

Here are some I would choose:

- high stakes online poker or pick the winners for that week and call a bookie
- Dunk a basketball (make sure to video tape as evidence and post on youtube)
- Write the next great pop song
- write down schematics for Greer's free energy machine :)

I didn't channel this force intentionally, but I have used it to kick the shit out some asshole that had it coming. He was twice my size and I pulped him (in the name of preserving this meat sack I inhabit) like a garbage-sack full of microwaved marshmallow. It honestly felt like some sort of energy bolt shot from the earth, up my ass, and animated my body like a rock'em sock'em robot. I've since avoided such situations...broke hands are no fun if you're a guitarist.
