Dr. Barry E. Taff and Your Questions and Comments

Free episodes:

Oh, I thought agent 9999 had vectored in on the wrong target when remote viewing and was actually viewing a Limburger cheese factory in Denmark!

Stepping back to reflect upon the dialogue which has taken place, I cannot help but to think what a miserable state of affairs Parapsychology is in. There is practically not one broadcast that when the veracity of the guest is called into question that the listener is not censored. However, here is a host, and co host, who are open minded, fair, intelligent, and are gentlemen. Lon Strickler of “The Phantoms and Monsters” network, and “Beyond the Edge” radio, vastly underestimates the intelligence of this collective forum. His champion has fallen from grace after ejaculating her thoughts onto this thread, and then departing in haste. After viewing his champions statement, and if one were in dire straits, I would suggest they would have serious doubts when engaging in their services. As it is my opinion Irene, that if in fact your intention is to devote your experience here to your website, including your statement, you will have placed yourself, and Spirit Rescue International in the exact same jeopardy in which Barry Taff has found himself. As there will be two self painted portraits hanging side by side, presenting themselves in extremely poor light.

Agent 99 has been remote viewing them for the past week or so. All she is getting is smoke and the smell of cheese. We're putting her back on finding Gene's lost iPod.

Gene's iPod has been located. It seems he was in on the very early adopter program.

Hey folks....thanks for the free advertisement and the backlink.

Bad humor aside, we generally do like to get as many data points as possible so people can make up their own minds. Certainly, the videos give the readers of this thread some additional insight.

Anyone want to comment on their impressions of the videos? I was underwhelmed.

The first one was okay. The second was underwhelming to say the least. I do want to say on the one hand that I don't think Dr. Taff has been discredited. As far as SRI is concerned, a big factor in their favor is that they don't charge any money. Its up to the client to decide if they get any benefit from their rescue efforts.

I'm still thinking about Irene Allen-Block's post by proxy, number (5), to be exact. Where she exclaims, " I don't need to make any appearances...let alone with Barry Taff, who I should of kicked off of SRI long ago if I hadn't been so soft." I would really liked to have known what that was all about. Most everyone already knows what I think about Spirit Rescue Intl., and their clips. Someone should pick up the ball and carry on with this, but I think the forum members are burnt out by now.

Wow, I'm away for a few days and look what happens!
First of all, I would like to give warm welcomes to Mr. Taff! (and I do not see any reason for thinking your image or reputation have been blemished by this.)
As for this Irene lady and her consort, I find it belittling to themselves to take such great offense to the original statements made about SRI. I do not see that this was anything to get so nasty about and in lue of these comments will not be visiting their website or suggesting that others do either (as at first I was interested in their services and what they represent).
Furthermore as far as remote viewing being something that only secretly trained persons can do (sounds like Major Jenkins, or whoever he is) that is absolutely absurd. If you know anything at all about astral projecting or quantum entanglement you can do this on your own without their services. (known as fact) And, the subject of disembodied or non incarnate spirits is very real (also known as fact) and I would very much enjoy speaking (perhaps on a new thread) to Mr. Taff about these experiences that I have had with spirits some time.
I applaud the members of this forum for their honesty and demeanor in these matters. I could see this potentially being a slam fest and all of you held your composure without loosing yourself and your opinions on the matter.
I think as for Irene certainly, and now it seems as of this latest post by Lon that their true colors too have been shown and for this I am sad for them but at the same time I don't believe in coincidences or accidents, all things happen for a reason, so perhaps this was a necessary end to a means for someone somewhere.....

Oh, and as for those video clips, I wouldn't be too proud of those as advertising but can see why they were posted here (to show both sides, which is how it should be). And as for my opinion of them, the first one was "okay" but that second one my instincts said was a farse from the get go...I could've made that same sound with my empty cd player. Though I do not discount the presence of ghosts nor the ability to pick up on the electricity often associated with them and other paranormal activity.
Peace out!

If you look back on this thread it is clear that Irene's tirade in her post by proxy was completely unwarranted and spurred on by some pretty basic questions you had about education and finances. The ridiculous reaction we got is so reminiscent of the likes of M. Horn that I doubt anyone wants to subject themselves to much more of this nonsense.

...The technique she uses comes to her directly from her spiritual helpers/guides, ...
These people shouldn't even be on our radar.

Lon Strickler's exit was less than meaningful, as he couldn't have set the bar much lower. Irascible Irene is probably pummeling him for creating the brain child. And yes..., we have better things to do. As this is why I resist commenting on shows...peace out.

Regarding the healthcare system of the US, I have never understood how the worlds remaining superpower can spend untold billions on wars, sending men to the moon etc but cannot even provide prescription meds at an affordable price?
If the net wealth of the countries richest 5000 people/companies were to be added up I am sure there is more than enough to go spare for some basic medicine to be free.
I really love the US. I've lived and worked and taken vacations there. The US has given the world so much isnt it time for the US to look after it's own?

No matter what meds I need, they are free whether I can contribute or not. If I need surgery or cancer treatment I don't pay a dime other than the taxes working people pay anyway.
Now, if you are rich in the US you can get treatment as soon as you need it but most people are not rich.
Would the American public accept a modest increase in taxes if it meant free healthcare for all at point of delivery? I suspect most would, the only people against the idea would be the rich, who despite having plenty always seem to be the ones least willing to pay a little more. The sad part is that the people who have the power to change these things tend to be rich and have no personal interest in changing the set-up.

I am no communist but I wonder is there ever any need for one person to have more than 100million net wealth? I think not. We have the super-rich here too and it's like an illness, an addiction with them. No amount of money or power is ever enough. I find that really sad and these people must be compensating for something else in their lives surely?

Well, I cannot legally witness a person seriously injured in public and saunter on without rendering aid. But we are expected to collectively ignore the ill and otherwise injured, as if we have no moral responsibility. ?? And yes--the Medicare on which so many Americans depend is a form of socialized medicine. It's just that we avoid using the "s" word for fear of being called the "L" word--Liberal.
