These Greer quotes are just two of the "cons" that I recorded at the Crestone II Conference way back in 1994:

"[disclosure will happen in] 90 days, 90 days—I guarantee it!"

"…I've been on the ships I, KNOW!"

After being challenged about his disclosure claims he privately told some of his followers that those who didn't believe him were "monkey brains" exercising "primate consciousness."

Even 15 years ago he was off in a little Tarzan world all his own...

I can't decide if he is delusional and can't realize he is his own worst enemy or if he makes a conscious effort to act the way he does. I think in any case he has probably damaged the cause for disclosure so badly it isn't going to happen while he is still around.
I have no issues with spiritual journeys, but to sell that disclosure of the ET's will lead to the spiritual awakening of mankind is more than I can bear. Now granted, there does seem to be some high strangeness and paranormal type events that sometimes acompany sightings, but I don't feel comfortable putting them in a spiritual or religious context. I don't think the aliens are willing to land in my yard and tell me why they are coming by either. And then there is the bit about paying $950 so you can learn to meditate to make the ET's appear. If I learn to meditate, it isn't going to be so ET can come visit!

I can think of both a 'pro' and a 'con' in relation to Greer, but I like to combine them into a single phrase: professional conman.

I really feel sorry for you. Greer is a snake-oil salesman, using his charisma to deceive and make money off of people.

In an earlier age, Greed would be riding into town in his carnival wagon, selling his bottles of elixir to the hapless townsfolk. He's on the same level as Jim Baker and Jimmy Swaggart. He's laughing all the way to the bank, with a quick stop at the gym to pump up.

Maybe I shouldn't feel sorry for you. If you want to be deceived, go ahead.

OK, I'm just going to come out and say I think "Andrew" is either Greer hizself or someone very close to him, trying to drum up some sympathy from us to get back at David and Gene. Or maybe try to get some converts. If you read the OP with that in mind, it looks very suspicious. At least to me. Greer would not be the first Famous Person to try such a flim-flam either. The fact that Andrew has yet to post a second time only makes it look more obvious to me. Yeah, I know. I'm a suspicious bastage.

As noted above, it's sad no matter what the real deal is here.

I say he is more and likely is, a supporter of Greer. There is plenty of people out there who follow the topic and are of the belief Greer is great. Sad sad people.

And the OP has also apparently posted the same stuff - word for word - on some other forums. So I hope no one will mind if I close this thread - this turkey is done.
