What we need is an equivalent to factchecker.org. We need a bipartisan (so to speak) website that has all of these videos and an objective analysis. One category of video would be "no beginning and no end" (always suspect). It should also contain WHO shot the video, what type of camera, location, back story etc. Video, in and of itself, is not worth much, but it is a starting point. And if people aren't willing to, at least to some degree, go on record then what use is it??
It would be nice for people to be able to go to this site for objective facts. Then people might become aware of bad videos like the China cigar, the Mexico City wobbler, the NYC UFO, the Mexico military shooting oil wells and car lights, the Haiti video, etc.
That might leave us with some more compelling videos. OK who's gonna do it?? Of course I'm sure you'd have to pay people for all these videos. Well, scratch that idea. Then again, maybe you could link to all these videos.
