The interview felt lighthearted and was more like a conversation folks would have in a bar with their hero.I feel there were a couple of missed moments they could have expanded on.The question about how and why Gene is in this field was touched on but not fully explored.I don't expect a Barbra Walters type interview that would make him cry of course, but give us more.In my opinion there has to be more then a simple childhood fascination with flying saucers that drives someone to this extent. How do you feel about having your name associated with this field and has it caused backlash in your personal life? How does it feel to expose frauds in the field? What is your opinion on not only the same old ufology names but also the people who follow them? Are we "followers" just being played for saps by clever scam artists or is there something to this?Do you think ufology will be dead in 10 years, and if so is it due in some part to outside forces? Are you concerned a move to mainstream radio would hinder your interview style?
No offence to the EERIE listeners but do your homework before sending in silly questions like "what was your creepiest moment".Overall I feel Gene deserved more then this sports radio type interview.Although,it could have been ment to be a lighthearted interview and if thats the case I do apologize.
