I think if we could get each person this forum or listeners of the Paracast to donate $5 to $25 or more each it could really be a great help to Ted. There is no doubt that something very bizarre is going on at Marley Woods.

Congress has plans to pass a stimulus bill w/$500 tax credit. I plan on giving $25 to donate to UFO Physical maybe more.

I echo your request. Ted has been struggling to raise just a few hundred dollars a month to finance his site and operations.

In fact, I've been trying to urge Ted to take his site over to our server, because we can save him a bundle and we have sufficient extra capacity to handle a few more sites with good traffic levels. But that's up to him and his Webmaster to decide.

Meantime, every $5 or $25 will help him continue his research. Of course we don't mind a few bucks too -- but this is a pitch for Ted. :)

Well it's like this: The site's host put the breaks on when they began to hit resource limits. You see, it was on a shared server. That means they were one among many, and when demand went up, the site was suspended, temporarily, until demand eased.

So they were forced to choose a dedicated server, or at least that's what their host told them.

You see, far too many hosts sell the "unlimited" scheme, where you are promised the sun and the moon for just a few dollars a month. When you try to use what's been promised, you hit the resource wall, something explained in the Terms of Service as a dodge against anyone actually trying to use what is being offered in those enticing ads.

Some hosts are more sensible about this, such as the one's we've used for our sites. But there are limits, and that's one of the key reasons why we leased a dedicated server, so that we can hog the thing all to ourselves and not run into problems when downloads are high and the message boards are busy.

I did offer to Ted space on our server at a lower price than he's paying -- but it's up to his Webmaster to decide.
 
After reading through his site, I'm going to take a trip to Missouri where some of this is happening.

Thats were Ted lives he doesnt want people visiting Marley Woods, and its an ongoing investigation.
 
the exchange rate is poor, but i'll donate 50 aussie dollars to each site Teds, and the Paracast tomorrow.

From what I understand, it's not just limited to Ted's location. A friend of mine down there says that there are goings on in the National Park too.

Regardless, I am going to head down there and bring a bunch of equipment with me. I have a couple of people that have told me about some of the goings on where they're at and think it would be a nice trip.

As far as what Ted Phillips has going on, Investigation or no, he's not the only person who is having these things happen on their land.

Well if you find other locations go at it. It happens here in Washington at Mt. Adams Gilliliand Property and in Arizona as well.

The Marley Woods is off limits however, since it is gated private property and they keep their rifles ready to stop any idiots who want to trespass. Ted has put alot of time an effort into his research last thing he needs is some idiot city kids coming over and spreading their slummish crap all over a site that has incredible science.:D

That is were Ted lives.

Marley Woods is in a totally seperate state. Or do you think you actually know were Marley Woods is?

I won't do it here though. I have a modicum of respect for the Paracast, and the people who run this site.

Why am I going to do this? Because I hate snarky little cowards.

C'mon Mate this thread is about donating to the research.........

if Mr Phillips winds up getting the blame because you published the location..........it may be the last we hear of this case.

Please dont let what one internet character post's cause you to do things in real life that are less than optimum

i think the location should be made public, for a number of reasons, but thats not the deal thats been made with Mr Phillips. i think we should be grateful for the data we have (may get in the future) and respect the right to privacy thats been excercised
 
Ted isn't the only game in town, and when people start asking for money, that is PRECISELY when people should start investigating.

I'm taking a month off in June because a friend of mine who lives in the area has told me to come down, and document some things that are going on in HIS neck of the woods. I have two other places in Missouri I plan to visit where they are having the same sort of thing going on.

When someone made a veiled threat concerning guns, and when someone decided to display their passive aggressive nature, I decided that it was time to make things VERY nasty, and VERY public. Unlike some people, I am very up front about any threats, or insults I throw.

With that said, I'm making it very public on another forum. I'm not doing it here, because David and Gene made an agreement.

Even though I myself am not bound by that agreement, I am mindful of their choice.
