Hey ! That wasn't there last night !

Free episodes:

Pixel those spiders that can eat birds......jeez those freak me right out! Any spider from Australia is always top of the poisonous list too....funnel-webs......aaaargh!

House spiders (UK) and the furry tarantula-types I am fine with. Dont have a phobia etc but the thought of me walking face-first into one of those webs of a morning.....

Got bitten by an Australian spider and was sick for months .. so I know first hand where you are coming from.

Still I do not kill the local spiders where I live.. if there is one inside I collect it and put it out.... Organic garden so no kill the spiders.. that be bad.

Whilst I have no problems wasting any spider attached to my dwelling - in terms of Karma I think I should only knowingly kill a living creature if me or those close to me might be hurt.

So, no wanton killing of spiders but vacuum cleaners and other instruments of 'length' can be employed to chuck said spider over the wall into the neighbours garden with ne'er a sideways glance of care!

Now as it turns out being that the golden orb weavers move their webs frequently it may be that mildred devoured her protein rich web before she moved

"... Many orb-weavers build a new web each day. Generally, towards evening, the spider will consume the old web, rest for approximately an hour, then spin a new web in the same general location. Thus, the webs of orb-weavers are
generally free of the accumulation of detritus common to other species such as black widow
spiders..."

I'm beginning to develop a real liking for my new friend

Heres a photo of a spider coming out a chinese lady's ear:

no need to thank me.;)

looks like a jumping spider. they are so cute. if you stick your face about 3-4 inches from one they will jump on your nose.

If you get a sheet of black foam core and spray it with super 77 ( or hair spray sometimes works ) you might be able to capture the web and spider and all intact. Of course the spider would also end up as part of your display. Hypothetically you could even make a replacement frame for the web and transfer it dream catcher like. I think they sell those big hoops at the craft shops. Then you could hang it someplace else. But it would be tricky.
