I tell most people who I speak to about this do not go under hypnosis
for your remembrances can be tainted by the hypnotist depending on how
they feel about these things.
I know this to be true from an experience I had in my late teens.

I brought a book on self hypnosis which also taught you how to
hypnotize others.

I was thinking it would help my recall for the coming regents exams in
school.

Hint, studying does more for you.....

Thats the result when i copy a sample into notepad, remove the extra spacing and copy it back.

Works for me

Mike that's what I do.
It showed up fine there, but not once I posted it.
Even when I open it edit it has no spaces, only when I post it does those spaces appear.
I spent all night trying to fix it finally I gave up.
I just spent s good part of an hour trying to fix it and its only gotten worse.
I will leave it as it is, as long as it can be read I am satisfied.

i was joking... sort of... i HATE microsoft crap and refuse to install any of it on my Mac.

In the future, immortal androids with positronic brains programmed to believe they contain the consciousnesses of the dead men and women they were built to resemble, will fight endless race wars based on manufacturers and branding rather than skin color. Or uhh, something like that.

I once had a weird OBE - abduction thing which I've no doubt was just sleep paralysis. I've had sleep paralysis without those things a few times too.
Now, if I were to go for hypnosis to 'uncover' anything I don't remember consciously, will I start remembering being interfered with by the Greys? Seriously, now that culturally all that shit is in my head, is it possible that the unconscious mind will put 2+2 and get 5?
Is that what happens to people? Cos I am very unimpressed with many 'abductees' - not so much their accounts, more that when I see them interviewed I get the very strong sense they are just attention seekers. If they had lived 100 years ago, they may have claimed to have been taken by fairies or visited by angels...

It's not that I don't think there is anything to the abduction phenomena - the fact I fall on the side of believing there are non-humans occupying UFOs leads me to think it is very well possible. But the sheer number of Americans (mostly) claiming abduction is too much to believe. And my B.S detector often (not always) goes haywire when I see certain people who claim abduction.

Bandwagon? Jumping on? Yip.

On another point entirely - back in the 90's when Steven Greer seemed to have common sense, sanity and a plan, I can understand why people may have liked him when he gave his talks. But I am utterly mystified as to how anyone, even a doe-eyed believer, could think he is anything more than quite seriously mentally ill now. Is it because he is a qualified M.D that people swallow whatever he says? Does no-one else get extremely uncomfortable watching him now, like being a spectator of a man in the middle of a nervous breakdown?
He really gives me the creeps now and nothing gives me the creeps. Except Steven Greer.

Hahahahahaha.
Pixelsmith I can understand that, this was a gift from my nephew.
He said it would help me with my writing, and truthfully it has somewhat.
I hate "*PC" computers or "Pissy" computers as I call them" and I, being into art and music." knew Macs were the way to go.
My first Mac, Grandpa Mac as I now call him, had one whole megabit of memory, and still works.
MACs have never let me down.
Any problems I ever had were caused by me, and my inadequacies.
I worry now that they have changed the format to run Microsoft programs, if that will be a doorway for viruses.
Because most of the computer virus writers are familiar with the IBM and Microsoft Windows platforms, its easier for them to make viruses for them.
I want to up grade Mac OS X, but am afraid of the risks in doing so, but being that most of the new things I want are written for them I am going to have to go that risk.

:(
"Sucks."

God, I hope not T.O, considering what we will loose as a species, I hope if we ever get that far, we will have programed that crap out of our systems.

Ding, ding, ding!
Right on point again Goggsmackay.
I know some X Steven Greer followers and they say the same thing about him as to why they left his wannabe cult.
One off his followers a Dr. Howard Shecter I think his name was, came to a S.P.A.C.E Gathering recruiting for Greer's group.
He passed out contracts for us to sign which most did.
I asked aloud if any of them even bothered reading them?
Of course there was an attempt by the True Believers to shout me down, as if that would work on me.
I asked Dr. Shecter about a clause I had trouble with in the contract roughly stating that any and all pictures, or videos taken of UFOs would be turned over to him, in as much that it was only because of his mentally calling them down, that these ships were coming down and allowing themselves to be photographed and taped.
'So," I asked Dr. Shecter, "as this is written, every tape I got of UFOs from then on would then belong to, or become the property of, Steven Greer because absent his calling them they would not have come down?"
"Yes," he said.
"Well," I answered him," as this is written, by my signing this contract, all the tapes I took of UFOs over the last three years would become his property too because if he had not called them to Earth they would not have come down, and so I would not have been able to get these tapes?"
He looked me squarely in the eyes and without a blink said, "Yes."
All the Experiencers started to tare up their contract all the "TruBees" signed and passed in theirs.
I think Dr. Shecter left Greer's group the next year.

Posey - spot on with your not signing.
Now, my number 1 gripe with Greer is simple. His whole thing is about the Government disclosing all the info he believes they are holding on the subject of UFOs. But whilst expecting disclosure from elsewhere, he jealously guards everything in his possession. Greer - how about - you disclosing your stuff?

Anything he has disclosed has been complete b.s. The butterfly photo and the blurry alien nonsense is the best he has to offer. I don't think there is anything the slightest genuine about the guy.

Yes, T.O, it is just a pile of shite at best. Greer - well I've got a new-found bit of sympathy for him. Joking aside, I think he has had a mental breakdown of some sort and his grip on reality suffered as a result. Surely no-one would have certified him fit to work as an E.R doctor if he was thought unbalanced? But that is what he is now exactly.
