I will limit my reponse to this thread's original post to a personal anecdote about dowsing and let time sort out the rest.

The incident in question happened decades ago and details are hazy. But I still believe the essentials to have happend as recalled. My father had a small piece of property criss-crossed with a network of old and unused drainage lines. If memory serves, they were a kind of clay pipe. No plat or plan was apparently available to indicate their whereabouts and my father, for reasons I cannot recall, needed to know their locations. He contacted a dowser. I still have a hazy mind's image of the dowser pacing over the area with copper tubes and coat hangers extended.

I recall the dowser's efforts as a success, with everyone on site duly impressed. Granted, this was very much an uncontrolled experiment. But I recall my normally skeptical father and others as positively impressed.

As stated, I can fully manipulate a standard dream (usually subconscious source); however, a dream that is accurate in the future I cannot change and a dream with the condition that it is under some other persons control I also cannot change. To manipulate a dream that is essentially contact from another person would mean controlling that person, much more difficult. I will try whatever I can do since the time for the dream is approaching. Precisely when, I do not know. Maybe someday we can get into the immutable future dream of a flu pandemic wherein the virus is a merge of natural nasty virus and has attached a man made configuration. That is a scary dream.

I understand that. Let me try rephrasing. I was under the impression that you felt these dreams were an attempt to communicate with you telepathically. Theoretically, telepathic communication is interactive like a normal conversation. So you shouldn't have to "control" anybody, just talk with them through the telepathic channel you believe you are tapped into during your lucid dream state.

At a paranormal site the last opinion I would expect to see is one with such a blatant disregard for others honesty. I may have overestimated the clientele.

I am of the belief that dreams and visions can be a lot of different things. A person could have ate too much sausage the night before bed time and had strange dreams as a result.

We have a lot of erroneous mental imagery that floats around in our grey matter during sleep. Sometimes our minds try to connect the dots in a way that sometimes makes sense and at other times it makes no sense at all. I dream quite often and the most frustrating thing for me is not remembering a dream or forgetting it soon after the dream.

I value my dreams because sometimes they are a solution to a problem my mind has been working on during waking hours. Just the other night I had an idea for a great song but it went away soon after waking. I remember playing the song in my dream but it went away. I have probably had more good ideas while asleep than waking...I just don't remember them lol.

Lastly, I think dreams can be downloaded like a computer program from a source . That source can be either bad or good and it depends on what you are tapped into. I am not of the opinion that a dream concerning a reality either present past or future is something we ourselves go out and get. I think it is something sent and received. Remote viewing falls into this category IMHO.

When we get a dream or premonition of this type it usually has a purpose. Remember all of the people who felt uneasy about boarding the planes and cancelled their flights on the very planes that flew into the WTC ? Ever read about the people, who for no reason decided to cancel their voyage on the Titanic because something didn't "feel right"?

A Biblical Pharaoh was warned in a dream about an upcoming famine in the land,actually a series of dreams all saying the same thing.He didn't understand the dreams though and needed help.

So If you have had a dream multiple times about a place not underground where people are held against their will in a rural area being fed by a dumbwaiter, I would not doubt it. That fact that you have had multiple dreams of the same thing makes the event more probable based on what I know about this type of thing. I think emotional energy can travel as well. Don't ask me to prove that....I can't . I think someone in great distress crying for help can open up some kind of unexplained channel some can hear. Of course if one believes in prayer then they believe this is conduit for action. I believe I have personally seen prayer answered.

I get mental images from your description. Maybe it is simply the way all of our minds construct images based on descriptions. Probably was. In my mind I see a much larger structure than a small outbuilding. Lots of dead underbrush. Almost a lodge structure. bland looking against a hill at the rear with pasture. Pixel...should I be looking for that shrink?
