I heard Biedny on another show talking about the "break up" and some of the behind the scenes stuff and it was really shocking.
And none of it is true; there was no "behind the scenes" drama. Biedny made it very clear to me and to the members of this forum that he left because of personal pressures and nothing more. No other issues precipitated his decision and I respect his reasons for getting out of this crazy field and getting on with his life. Anything beyond that is a fantasy, and I have no idea what he hopes to accomplish by ragging on his former friends.
More to the point, it's not a subject that's in any way relevant to the show as it is now, which is why I will not engage in back and forth discussions about it. That's why it ends here.
As to the format of the "old" Paracast and the "new," it's overblown. There were maybe a dozen episodes where we had on known fakers and gave them a hard time. All of that was repeated over and over and became the stuff of legend.
With my rotating panel of co-hosts, we explore a far wider range of subjects, but still have those classic Paracast moments. Example: Do you recall when Paul Kimball compared the Aztec UFO crash to Dracula? You drive a stake into them and they both keep coming back from the dead.
You'll hear lots more, but keep an open mind, please, and you'll see that the best is yet to come.

Sure, I understand the primary thrust of the show is to sell the guests' works.
It's not our purpose. Our purpose is to elicit information from the guest. I grant they may want to sell books, and they are given a couple of minutes to plug their works, but that's not our reason for having them on the show. Some guests have nothing to sell except their ideas.
More to the point, you have to treat people with some degree of respect, unless they are being overtly deceptive. Otherwise, no guests would ever come on the show. There has to be a happy medium.
