If you were invisible (or above the law)

Free episodes:

This is one of those questions where you just never know for sure, regardless of the self image you have. I know I would eventually do bad things myself, it would tap into that darker human nature, but I honestly cannot say how or what I would do. It's fun to fantasize, but ultimately no one can say for sure what they would do with that kind of ability.

There has never been a truer word spoken Sandanfire.

I apologize ahead of time for those that adore him, but Michael Jackson was the epitome of what too much money and fame (translation - power) can do to a man. As the saying goes, "absolute power corrupts absolutely." Being above the law or invisible (assuming we overcome the blindness factor) would lead to this. Maybe not right away for some people, and it may take years or decades for others but eventually, I think, it would corrupt anybody with this type of ability.

I think another clear example of how power can corrupt people is our politicians. It seems the longer one spends in a political office the more corrupt one becomes. There are exceptions of course, but generally it seems to be the case.

What evil and corrupt things has he done?? Sure he is weird, but corrupt?? Maybe his father.

Don't get me wrong, I don't adore him. But he was a philanthropist on a large scale several times. He was abused. He became one of the strangest icons we have ever seen.

Either way, point taken. We see corruption from many of those that think themselves above the law. Politicians, movie stars, pro athletes, policemen, and others in the limelight. I think there are probably many better examples than MJ.

If I'm perfectly honest, then I'd have to say it would be a great temptation to sneak into the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders locker room. Does that make me evil?? Maybe so, but just being honest. It's really hard to say what a person would do without really being in that situation.

OK, I'll leave the politicians to skunkape. For my part, I'd take revenge on the Wall Street crooks and bank CEO's who caused most of the current economic problems and will undoubtedly get off scott free. Maybe I could figure out how to get hold of their ill gotten assets and return them to their victims. Seeing those guys living on the street would be almost as good as putting them behind bars where they belong. :p
