I've seen several ufos in my life. Guess I was hallucinating or lying. Good to know.

I haven't seen a thing except in pictures. But I haven't seen the Mona Lisa in person as I have never been to Paris. Hummm maybe Paris is a state of mind. I tend to think that some would agree to that statement! ;)

But it does not take away from the fact that something is going on. I don't have any idea what it is but I do know that it is. As I asked in another thread... these good folks out there minding their own business, what do they have to gain by making it up? What is the motive? We know what the motive is of some people but the everyday person who gets caught up in this??? Why?

Oh, Haven't seen you post in a few days Capn. Hope you had a great holiday.

I did thanks, except amongst other things I seem to have gotten a sore throat for christmas (feels like someone's trying to put out a cigarette on my uvula). Then again, maybe I'm just hallucinating that my throat is sore. Oh those whacky hallucinations!

The statement was "I'm Sorry UFO's just dont exist...". To make that statement means that you have NOT researched enough. You can debate endlessly about WHAT "THEY" are or are not but to supposedly do hours and hours of research and to come away with "I'm Sorry UFO's just dont exist..." is more than a little suspect.

The statement you made can easily be interpreted as a deliberate attempt to stir things up. If you want that, go to ATS. There are more than enough folks there to fall for the trap.

I suggest you look more deeply at the phenomenon. There are hundreds of visual/radar sightings and visual/physical evidence sightings out there. If you do more research then you will notice that definitely in this forum and in the community itself there is a very large distinction between UFO and Occupants and Origin.

If you are interested enough to do research start with accounts that have substance. Radar, physical traces, multiple high value witnesses. Download the report MUFON did on the radar tracking info from the Stephenville Texas case from last year for starters. Dive into the archives. There are more than enough solid leads in this forum to soak up a thousand hours of research. Then come back and read your opening remarks and tell us all how you would then interpret it.

I recall friedman used to say, in regards to the question of whether or not he's seen a ufo.... and some ask him how he can believe in them having never see one... He used to say, (before having visited it). "I've never seen Sydney Australia. It's there".

I disagree you have no idea what it is btw. You have ideas, just aren't as arrogant as some in being definitive about them.

Nyquil! Or hard liquor, usually helps me. Though Nyquil is very hard to drink. There's pills tho. I rarely get sick these days thankfully. Been at least 2 or three years since I had a cold I think. Maybe 4. Knock on tinfoil.

Hope you feel better soon.

Beats only having to listen to them on tv. I heart internets. I'm glad Gore invented itz.

Unfortunately even total morons like the thread creater, think googling stuff will make up for years of his lack of paying attention. Google makes idiots look half way intelligent, thats my point.

Huh? I'm stupid and use Yahoo

It reminds me of that time I paid a midget to shove their finger up my butt. They only had one finger. Hicup. :(

I think one mistake people make about UFO's is that they tend to dismiss them because they don't "fit" what we want them to fit. We want them to be here for a reason obvious to us. We want them to land and show themselves to everyone. We want pictures on everyones cell phones. But inevitably doubt creeps in. Especially if you have never experienced such an "object" as I never have.

Why would they come here?? Why travel all that way, assuming it IS a long way?? Why come and watch us monkeys fight and kill each other?? The fact that we don't know (although some will tell you they do) what "they" are and why "they" come here is reason enough for people to dismiss it altogether. They haven'texperienced it and they don't find the "reasons" for them coming here at all convincing. Human reasoning, my guess, is not sufficient enough to understand what the phenomenon is even about. My feeling is that it is beyond us in many ways.

But the phenomenon persists. Things do show up on radar. People, HONEST people, see them. Some pictures are quite interesting, but most are bunk. This enigma has ways of chipping away at our reality. "They" obviously aren't here in their own rendition of Mars Attacks, ... at least not yet. The sightings still happen but are so elusive to the masses that maybe this is how "they" want it. To seep into our culture, our reality, .. slowly.

I don't know. Thats why it gets difficult. We start to reason it out and it just doesn't work. Everyone wants some easily digested way of knowing. We want it cut and dry. We want the toilet from one of the crafts. But it turns out it is not as simple as some would like it to be.

Continue to dig and you'll find the phenomenon more convincing. Not that anyone should try to convince you, but I'll tell you, you aren't going to find it listening to podcasts. This one is the best, but you'll actually have to do some reading and digging to separate the crap from the nuggets. And another problem is there is a L O T of crap.

Also there are some threads on simulation theory which I find interesting as well. Search the forums and you'll find some stuff.

Easy there CyBer. I don't think this Net character is a total moron, he's just new. And he's looking in the right place for info too (ie HERE). We just need to edumacate him a little (a-hyuk).

Cyber, Easy there Killer, i am new to the site and although you are correct i can use the internet to search for information, I think that by coming to forums like this one helps to speak to folks who have always believed in the phenomenon. See one thing you cant get from searching google vs speaking to you all here on this forum is direct 1 on 1 conversations about the subject.... If you backup a few post you will see that i told everyone on here that my title was poor, i should have picked a better title for my post! What i really wanted to say was that little green men or Greys like in the Roswell story Dont exist! not Un identified flying lights, yes there is footage and evidence that cannot be denied, but what i am saying is that those Aliens that Hollywood keeps making up are the ones that dont exist.... I think that you should use your forum status and try to educate the new comers like me rather than trying to shut the door and tell me to go and search the web. I think that the more people like all of us who have an interest in the subject engage with one another we are bound to bring new insights into things that each and every one of us may have not known. Its been a brutal 24hrs on this forum, its almost as if i stepped on everyone's toes trying to find my seat and now i am in the line of fire....

Net:

No matter, I say your title and post really did you good after all, what with over 385 views and over 30 replies for being such a brand-newbie!

Net,

If you're going to come on these forums and make statements like, "________ doesn't exist", you best have done your homework and have something to back up your proclamation, or our forum members will blast your lack of supporting knowledge and you to the edge of the galaxy. You've admitted you're a newbie, fine, now try and learn something or you're going to get the respect you've earned, as in, none at all.
