I will tell you about an experience that happened within the last year. This may seem like an absolutely impossible story but this actually happened:
I was at home and sat down to have lunch at my coffee table (sitting on the floor) and watching TV. It was like any other day, it was probably around noon or so. Out of the corner of my eye, I saw something move on the ceiling. It was about 8ft away and the room was well-lit. I looked up directly at this thing and to my shock, it was the arm of a robot. I instantly became horrified as it was of a very sophisticated design that I had never seen before.
The motion was very fluid. It was a mechanical design, not some amorphous material. The overall length was about 3-4 feet and it was black. In my mind I felt instantly that A) I should not be seeing this and B) If the operator of this thing believes that I am watching it, something very bad was going to happen to me in an instant.
I put my eyes back on the television and started eating and watching television, pretending that I had not seen this thing. I have very good peripheral vision and I continued to watch it for several minutes. It had a gripper much like any other robot you have seen, a standard pincher that was about 3-4 inches in length. This arm moved around somewhat rapidly and it appeared to me that it was trying to snatch something from the air like it was trying to snatch a floating particle like dust particles perhaps. It was moving quickly.
There was no detectable sound. It was definitely searching for something. I sat and watched this thing for several minutes and all the while trying to not show any signs of stress. It is amazing what you can do when you are presented with the impossible. I felt that it could go sidewise at any second and I had no idea what might happen. When I finished my meal as quickly as I could I turned off the set, walked into my kitchen, set down my plate and drink, called my dogs, and immediately exited the house and drove away.
I went down the road a mile or two and walked my dogs at my usual walking spot. On that walk, I thought about what just had happened a few minutes earlier. Who was I going to tell? My girlfriend would seriously think I was mentally ill. Perhaps if she told me something like that I would think she was ill? Anyway, I walked and thought to myself that it would be just best to ignore this whole event and pretend that it did not happen, as any discussion of this, or obsessively thinking about it could ruin my life in ways that I could not imagine. I would not believe me.
Amazingly enough, from that day forward, I had completely forgotten about it. One evening, not long ago, I was sitting with my girlfriend and we saw something on television and the topic came up of someone seeing something extraordinary and how difficult that would be to be in that situation. Immediately I had a recall of what happened. I then just immediately blurted out what I had seen without really thinking about the consequences. Luckily she did not take this seriously (either that or she currently has major concerns kept to herself).
Now the reason that I asked about interdimensional space is that no other explanation (in my limited understanding of space and time) fits. This thing had penetrated the drywall in the ceiling and was moving around without any form of light or heat or anything. It was coexisting with other matter in a completely fluid way. There was no damage to the ceiling, no discoloration, nothing. A couple of things come to mind. One is that we are living in some kind of artificial "Matrix" (like the movie) and that matrix had a glitch in it. That is a very frightening thought to me.
The second thing that comes to mind is that there is some other highly sophisticated civilization (perhaps our own species in a distant future) that is able to permeate our space-time at will and is obviously largely undetected. Could it have been an illusion? A trick of the mind? Not if you ask me because I have never had any experience of visual hallucinations ever. I was not asleep, I had not just crawled out of bed. I was completely sober, I do not drink, I do not take any drugs.
If you ask me, I know this event happened and it will probably plague my mind forever if I do not put it back in the recesses of my mind as I had managed to do before. There is not much more that I can add to the story. Perhaps if someone sees something extraordinary like I did they will not be afraid to share their own story of a seemingly impossible event. Thanks.
