Anti-snakebite vaccine shots? That's a new one to me? Is that to cover associated infection or can you vaccinate against the toxins in snakebite's?

Least she is on the mend, I imagine she will be ultra-wary of wriggly snakes in the future, if she remembers being bitten! Poor thing!
 
The snake bite vaccine is like any vaccine .. supposed to help alleviate the effects of snake bite IF IT WERE TO HAPPEN again. Our other pooch, Lil' Joey, is even smaller than Jade and had he been tagged by that damn snake, I do not think he would have made it. So .. the vaccine. Momma Vicki is like a female Grizzley Bear when it comes to her "kids". She does get protective.

'Tagged by that damn snake' - lovin' the language! Somehow reminds me of a friend, a Colour Sergeant in the Royal Marines, when talking about shooting someone whilst on active duty, he called it 'slotting them' - (putting a bullet in your enemy). Ouch!

Well, in Nam we called it "greasing them, dusting, and sometime dinging them." Different strokes for different folks! :)
