Maybe that's why that battle was such a massacre. Drugged up tribesman vs. armed soldiers. Gee, I wonder which side lost over 10,000 men.

I don't think the British had ten thousand troops in the entire region. Clearly, they were overly self-confident about the power of a single-shot rifle and cartridges made out of tin-foil.

At least the tribesmen were having a good time.

The Native Americans were kicking the shit out Western settlers until Colt invented the revolver. Those single shot rifles the Brits were using take way too much time to reload to handle the speed and ferocity the Zulus were dishing out. It would have been a different scene if they had Gatlings...or an army of William Wallaces.
