I don't think I'd be able to give up TV entirely. I do only use it to watch DVDs or a few cable movies and some shows on DSC or History channels but I feel like I need it to relax and escape from the daily grind. But I do agree that the drivel that seems to permeate today's television can make anybody's mind numb. Don't even get me started on the news networks.

Well I'm a S.E.C. football fan ( I know but I'm just drawn that way!) so I can't give up my boob tube until the last Tide victory. Not to mention I'm a Braves fan (it's a southern thing) so I have to watch during baseball season. Not to mention I enjoy the office and the History channel documentries and Monster Quest. Oh well, other than that I don't watch it much. Get my news and social networking off the internet.

What, are you crazy?!?!? Give up UFO Hunters reruns? Not in your life!! For the record I'm weaned of TV news entirely, but to kick back and watch a high-def adventure DVD on a 7.1 system and a 60" screen, feeling the 1000 watt bass rumble in your bones and shake the windows. Yee Haw! Ride 'em cowboy! Pass the popcorn!
