I thought Christian Bale went a little overboard in the guttural sound. Sometimes it was difficult to understand — or at the very least, it sounded just foolish.

Just remember, George Clooney is an Oscar winner as well, but he wasn't right for the Batman character. You may blame Ben Affleck or not for killing off Marvel's Daredevil movie franchise. Even the Incredible Hulk got a second chance in the theaters. Apparently Daredevil (or Affleck in that role) doesn't rate a revival.

His choice of cinematography reminds me of one of my favorite movies, Dark City (which I neglected to put in my top favorite 100 list a few weeks ago)
