Michael Schratt, Bob Lazar, Area 51

Free episodes:

How is it semantics to emphasize the difference between un human alien creatures separate from us humans, who come to earth from another planet in which they originated, and human (futuristic) terrestrial influences, developed by a smaller, more pliable human by which to go back in time?

I watched the video you placed on your response purporting to show some form of hypocritical behavior in Mr. Schratt, but honestly, explaining aliens with back packs in an interview, and agreeing with Mr. Burish’s explanations of Area 51’s involvement, seem to me to be the same form of information, albeit ridiculous nonetheless. Both can allude to a terrestrial form of human being, and in the explanations Mr. Schratt provided on the Open Minds site, it actually dissects the very notion that these are people, humans like you and I, whom come back in time to our present timeframe.

Believe you me, I am by no means a PR rep of Mr. Schratt. I think what we need here is for someone to confront him dead on and ask the simple questions:
  1. What do you in fact believe in when it pertains to either the un human extra terrestrial explanation for this phenomenon, or the human terrestrial idea, either within thus or by our own current government, or a futuristic one sending back a Crononaught if you will?
  2. Why is it that you work so hard on dissemination of the UFO phenomena, and then seem to give it so much credence in your next available speaking or conference engagement? Is this because you feel the need to disprove the argument for extra-terrestrial non human life, or the opposite?
  3. Are you, or have you ever been a part of the psycho ward at Bellevue?
LOL! I had to add the last one in there, because, unlike many others, I would rather judge this man based on what he actually stands for, than what he seems to perhaps muddle toward, via the effectual fame notion proposed by those who would rather pan anyone who comes along and attempts some “GROUNDED” reality type answer to a paranormal question such as this.

I thank you for your due diligence in constructing this information presented here, but I would have to agree to disagree with your findings. MR. Schratt, although questionable as to his personal belief, doesn’t seem to be so obviously muddled in his presentation. I find that he does not believe in the extra terrestrial non human explanation for the visitations/crashes, etc., and instead looks to use the various stories and supposed “proof” to connect with a realistically (to him anyway) driven explanation. I would love for Mr. Schratt to answer the above questions so as to end any attempt he could otherwise change, in the future, for fame or monies sake...unless he finds and exclaims otherwise, allowing us the clear understanding of his intentions. I will admit that sometimes he seems rather over inflated, but again, just look at the subject……it’s hard not to be.

If Schratt is as you say he is, then he should have said to Jesse:

"I think reports of "aliens" from another planet working at Area 51 are ridiculous, however, I know this "Doctor" named Dan Burisch who worked along side an advanced time traveler from the future who looks exactly like Whitney Strieber's gray alien!"

Of course he didn't do that because he knew what Ventura's response would have been. It would have been the same as if the said there where aliens from another planet out there. In that sense there is no difference. At the end of the day, he presented himself as a mainstream aerospace researcher with an expertise in black projects. All very earthly endeavors. In reality, we know that he is far more involved in the kookier side of Area 51 than he let on in that interview. Arguing whether Schratt meant "alien" as from Zeta Reticuli, or "alien" as in time traveler from a million years into the future is meaningless in that, regardless of which of those positions he adheres to, both of them are miles outside of the standard aerospace/military black projects mantra he tried to present to Ventura.

Why did Schratt have to say anything to Jesse The Body Ventura? Why wasn't his Conspiracy Theory staff (or Jesse) able to cover this obviously purposeful slant ahead of time and call him out for the supposed quack you make him out to be?

Could it be because they happen to disagree with your opinion about his obvious hypocrisy…..or is it too easy to condemn someone who might have a different slant on what is really happening in the UFO world?

From what I have read, witnessed and observed in almost everything Schratt discusses, his content might be something altogether obsolete in scientific justification, and thus his material flawed, but that’s a far cry from calling the man a hypocrite, merely because he happens to continue to promote the theory that out worldly “aliens” aren’t really E.T., but in all actuality a human terrestrial explanation solely and not something un human.

It still seems you are ready to condemn the man based on this objective, instead of anything he might represent or mislead others to believe…..so unlike yourself, to me it has everything to do with the content, as in “position”, and even though I think his reporting might be nonsensical in verifiable proof, he still continues a devoutly, but sometimes mismanaged,“horizontal” agenda in context and nothing I see varies in this at all.

Have you considered placing the same “hypocritical” scrutiny upon others in the field such as David Icke and Colonel Alexander, yet perhaps allowing for “content” driven methodology instead of how well or badly they perform when taking a side in the argument? Ask Mr. Icke for an autographed copy of his works on reptilians, or perhaps question Col. Alexander’s latest interview on how there really isn’t an alien agenda, but government based…or wait….perhaps yes and maybe no.....that is to cover all sides as seen in this popular mechanics interview:

UFOs Myths, Conspiracies, and Realities - Col. John Alexander UFO Hunter - Popular Mechanics

Is he for….is he against….or does he just love the limelight?

Schratt has years of information on Open Minds which make perfect sense, are for the most part factual, and continuously enlightens the reader to a side of the subject so many Martian well wishers conflict with, to the point of almost zany religious mania. Whether intellectual or not, the purpose should always be an obvious one and that is why I can agree with your opinion, based on the questions we should ask him, which would in and of themselves define the man’s objective, that is without judging his intent as polarization for the makings of deceit.

The Michael Schratt fan club, has one official member!

David Ike and Col. Alexander are not of my concern. I simply wanted to bring up a point about Michael Schratt. Talking about others is to change the subject. I feel as though we can agree and disagree. Speaking of autographs, have you gotten Michael's yet? I would imagine it would be on a big glossy print of himself above the title AEROSPACE HISTORIAN AND BLACK PROJECTS SPECIALIST*

*this person has no formal training or education into either of these subjects and any claims made by the above person are simply portions of hearsay picked up and regurgitated from a collective of UFO related websites.

Or at least one member who isn't about to defame someone based on personal viewpoints and little factual reasoning. I might not agree with what he has to say, but there are different ways to deal with someone like this, and calling him out as being something he isn't, just to make a point, isn't one of them.

Perhaps it's because too many people are quick to jump on the bandwagon of personal opinion based bias and thus nothing short of self indulgent factual belief, instead of testing the waters and seeing whether there holds a more grounded merit to some of their words. As a believer in the divinity of Jesus Christ as my savior, I could easily justify my "opinions" into what I'd like to call facts, and then ground into dust all the others who disagree. I could be hypocritical against those who believe in ancient aliens, not because of the lack of evidence, but because I look at the world through a smaller sphere of allowances. This is simply wrong to do.

If others asked me if I believe there is intelligent life other than ours in the universe, I would tend to feel that there is. But I also tend to believe that if there were non human, extra terrestrial life as we call aliens out there, they wouldn't give a pot of you know what that we exist. I tend to sway toward the inter dimensional realm when it comes to these happenings....but that's all I do. I TEND to BELIEVE....NOT feel it's a fact and defend against all others out there who might show information contrary to my BELIEF.

If this was a discussion based on the probable cause of the man's proof, without the direct attack upon his all inclusive position, then and only then would I say that he has a lot to learn about his delivery....but it wasn't about that. It was about taking a side and justifying the critique reflecting upon a belief system for a step off point, and not closely scrutinizing material, albeit other than perhaps Burish and Area 51. The man spent years qualifying obvious fakery and did so with sometimes excellent dissertation.

As I mentioned before, the Burish situation and Bob Bazar (all pun intended) was a little out there...but he didn't state he was a believer....he didn't go as far as Icke and Alexander and the other dolts , living the life like some guru martian test pilot hell bent on propagating a bunch of nonsense in order to promote some new religious fervor. No, the man spent many years looking into the reasons why these happenings are....and doing so with a grounded and for the most part, scientific manner. He doesn't take his findings and slam them down people's throats, like some I mentioned and many more.

Whether you believe in E.T. as the current notion, or Demons as I do, or perhaps some other form of energy, one very important point should always be remembered. It's ALL OPINION BASED HOT AIR....and the facts are only grounded in earthly measurements. There is nothing else to utilize, and I am sick and tired of others who might differ in anyone's PERSONAL belief, being mauled because they have some inferiority complex and can't take a little counter exchange.

"No, the man spent many years looking into the reasons why these happenings are... doing so with a grounded and for the most part, scientific manner."

So what version of the scientific method rely on when he took Dan Burisch at his word and peddled it around the UFO circuit for profit despite the fact the Burisch was completely discredited in the late 1990s? Dan Burish was a probation officer and a low payed security guard, this is empirical fact. Burisch never did "research" nor did he posses the scientific qualifications or work history to back up any of his claims. Anyone using anything resembling a scientific method could discover this.

You then go on to say: "but he didn't state he was a believer."

You say that Schratt did not state he was a believer, but I tend to think actions speak louder than words! Schratt chose to spend years speaking about Dan Burisch and his fantastical story, over and above other individuals. Why didn't he peddle the Billy Meier stuff instead? Probably because he thought it was B.S! By continuing to refer to Burisch as a "Doctor" and by continuing to peddle the same story that has been investigated and dismissed, can't be looked at as judicious discretion. Instead, it is clear the Schratt bought into this. If he didn't he would know it would be impossible for Burisch to be working at Area 51, working full-time as probation officer, and working on a PH.D all at the same time. These are impossibilities. You would not associate yourself with any part of such story, unless you bought into it.

See this is what I don’t get in so many people on this forum’s position as to the difference between someone like a Dan Burisch and a David Icke. Burisch speaks about a totally different story other than the usual Mars E.T un-human to Earth scenario…..or how I knew an alien from Zeta Reticuli and he blends in with the population like a human, but just look at his eyes….see how they have a slit in them sometimes when the camera slows down in between frames which shows the change. See how that proves beyond a shadow of a doubt that lizard men from Uranus or under the earth are now real! Just look at all the facts I have to prove this! Or how the ancient Mayan’s have this calendar that will predict the end of the world because the dates stop on a certain day…..This is a FACT, easily bent and twisted and perverted to mean all sorts of lies.

There are men living the above examples who ONLY speak about this and live their lives spewing forth crap in the field as if it's a religiously conservative reality.

Let’s instead disseminate a man’s life showing how he worked or what he did in this particular time as though we were there for every part and breathe of it, ready to judge and conclude via what we use as our slant on the facts in order to justify our personal agenda. God forbid we should actually see the entire picture and understand that in the all inclusive scope of a man’s life, there might be inconsistencies or variances in his development. I mean that would just force us to understand human tendencies to sometimes make mistakes and justify our rant with.

I already stated that Bursich seems fantastical. As far as Mr. Schratt using only Burisch his entire life and all he does is promote one story, I have a great deal hard time believing this, considering all the material I found on the man, in both video as well as printed material form. As someone who just recently looked into his life, and having not the available time to be there for every time the man combs his hair, never once did I hear Mr. Schratt state for the record that he emphatically believed that Dan Burisch was the end all of truth. Quite the contrary, if he utilizes the man’s information as something contradictory to the belief in non human Martians, then and only then do we place the man under the microscope to single him out and judge.

Again, I believe Mr. Schratt is someone who might not have the presentation skills down pact to realize that when a media form is being used to record his interests, he doesn't make the Martians continuously green instead of brown, but I do like the idea how he's not just allowing for jumping on the bandwagon and shoving the un human extra terrestrial "fact" down our throats every day.

Withoutlimits09, it's with mischievous happiness I bump this topic, but thanks so much for bringing that second video, "and we can't forget this", to my attention. I bought "Dr." Dan's book for my brother as a joke many, many years ago, but this
vid takes the cake. I wonder, just offhand, if the good Doctor is a connoisseur of inspiring, uh, liquids. He seems a little tight.
You brought me a lot of laughs with this post, thank you so much. Does Dr. Dan still grace the lecture circuit? Wow.
p/s I know, I know: with "tight", it takes one to know one, I'll cop to that...

Looks like Michael Schratt is again attaching his name to Dan Burisch in a new documentary.

"Escape From Area 51 J-Rod Incredible Testimony from Michael Schratt, military aerospace historian,In this Open Minds Production, Michael Schratt provides specifics regarding Dr Dan Burisch's alleged interaction with an extraterrestrial known as "J-Rod". Openmindstv click link!"

Notice the word EXTRATERRESTRIAL! The major Schratt defender on this thread kept defending Schratt suggesting he didn't hold and ET position, was grounded in his beliefs and did not defend outlandish theories. I guess that is now out the window....

Schratt and his buddy "Dr" Dan are out patting each other on the back.

W/o limits, I was watching this damned thing a couple days ago. A mind is a terrible thing to waste. But the laughs produced are
(late night, bleary) sublime. I love the highly, uh, serious photoshop clips, which make it more real than "real"!
I love Mr. Schratt's confident presentation, and the serious consideration given his presentation by the few people left in the audience.
I think this is the vid where Schratt defines the difference between an extraterrestrial and an alien.

By the way, on the subject of sublime late-night retarded amusement, what is this crap about the third "phase of moon [sic]"? I like ALL the phases of the moon, or
"of moon", or what have you. What is the "third phase", and why is it the best? Is the moon waxing or waning?
There's nothing quite as great as Lazar stepping out of his Camero in this vid, to be sure, but it's damned close! I'm glad someone else noticed the grandeur of the message and spectacle.
As Jim Moseley (who would have loved this) would say, "sic transit Ufology". Or, as J. Lear would say, "it's all over but the shouting".
