Michio Kaku comments Leslie Kean's book

A principal author of the COMETA was the then director of their gov research team, now called GEIPAN-CNES....JJ Valesco. I would suspect that the numbers offered as well as the opinions of the study in general are based on their study which has been continiously underway since the mid-1960s.... I suspect that they have been far more intellectually honest than the US studies.

Now for the one 'bone" I have with the good doctor. I'm not an Astronomer and I barley find the big dipper some nights. But, I have Never, Ever, EVER , mistaken Venus for a U.F.O.. Know what? I don't think many people do. Other than that I enjoyed it.

It had to be said. Take it away from the opposition by acknowledging that some are a result of it and still you are left with unknowns. It was a preemptive strike.

Dr. Kaku is a bright one and has a tactical mind... I am sure he went after the Venus matter specifically to mollify that faction.... I met him in 2003 and showed him some of our work and he suggested that some of these things may represent ETI and that we could not afford to overlook even one such event if it truly did represent an ET incursion....

I recall being on a sky watch up in the Sierra Nevada foothills some years ago. A fellow out there that has since passed away was taking some very interesting video of UAP passing over. It was good work... In any case, we stayed up for the night, and watched the clear and star filled sky. If I recall correctly it was Summer and the sunrise was around 5:30 am. At about 4:50, a light rose above the horizon to the East. It was slowly rising and very, very bright. Eventually it was alarmingly bright. It looked like a sunrise but this thing was obviously not the sun. I got on line right away to check the star charts and, sure enough, it was Venus. I have never seen anything, with the exception of an iridium flare and one UAP observation that was even close to that brightness. It was so large that I could cover it with the eraser on the end of a pencil. This is significant because, when the moon is full, you can barely cover it with a pencil eraser held at arms length from your eye and this had the same dimensions. It was a very, very bright white light...
