Again, I know about this because I before I knew any better I subscribed to her podcast in iTunes (couple yrs ago). Think I asked this before, but why does she refuse to accept the opinion of image experts that these drone pics are CGI? You have emailed her right, David?

I absolutely stand by my opinion of those images, and who cares about this new stuff? Did anyone else see this thing? Apparently the photographer doesn't know how to use his 100-300mm zoom. What, a dozen shots in the sequence, and the guy never thought to ZOOM IN? Yeah, that makes loads of sense.

And just for the record, if LMH is trying to imply that I am part of some sort of "calculated disinformation campaign", she's as delusional as Asshat Lear. For chrissakes... LMH is a joke, and just for reference, I saw an email from her to someone, claiming that our own Robert Hastings is not someone she finds credible, which tells me ALL I need to know about her reasoning skills. Hastings is easily the most thoughtful, capable researcher I've encountered in this field, and he's done far more important work to move this field towards credibility than ANYTHING LMH has done in her entire "career". The ones who throw around the term "disinformation" are most likely to be the perps of that particular brand of poison.

I dont think she meant you specifically, but she said that "people were claiming the images to be hoaxes", and she seemed to justify to herself a reason not to accept that claim because its the result of misinformation.

Yeah, just total bullshit. I just found that interesting because I always wondered why she still promoted this 'case' after being told by experts that they were CGI. Now I guess we know - in her head anyone that claims that, have been duped by the disinformation campaign.

Lucky she is on the case and smart enough to see through it all /sarcasm
 
I haven't looked into the drone thing in any great depth, but I have reviewed some stuff as it comes along.

Here's my take on it, for what it's worth.

1. The CHAD photos are fakes.

2. The CAROT document is a fake, albeit a really interesting fake.

3. Linda Moulton Howe, to her credit, has found a handful of eye-witnesses, who have come forward, using their names, to describe seeing these "drone" objects in flight.

4. The way the witnesses describe the drones, doesn't seem to me to be alien, but it seems like it's actually man-made technology. Advanced and secret, but man-made.

5. We have entered a new chapter of warfare, and there are now lots of arial drones employed by the government as a tool of war.


MY CONCLUSION, and I'm probably wrong:

The government is testing technologically advanced un-manned craft. They are being seen by witnesses who are describing something unusual. At the same time the UFO field is being flooded with easily dismissed fake images and documents, in order to discredit the "real" drones.

These "real" drones are going to be employed in other countries, and it would benefit the military to have a way to discredit any witnesses in a foreign war situation. Presently, they are testing that disinformation system here.
 
Yeah, thats the ONLY thing that I find interesting about this 'case'. Just WHO ARE these people she finds that claim to see something that looks like those drone fakes?

Does Linda setup fake witnesses to get hits on her site? Are people lying to get some attention? Are people actually seeing some sort of secret tech that while it does exist, has nothing to do with the drone CGI/Chad/CARET bullshit?

Is Whitley Strieber a liar or did he something that looks like those things?

All I can really surmise though is that LMH is so fricking FULL OF HERSELF that she deems herself above other experts in the field and refuses their advice. Its pathetic the amount of respect she gets from some quarters.

I've always considered LMH to be a not-so-great investigator, but the idea that she actively hoaxes shit seems a bit of a stretch as well. I really think her ego is too big for games like that. If she finds some witnesses, so much the better.

Has anyone considered the idea that the CARET and maybe even the Chad material are government disinfo?

I don't think she cares whether things are hoaxes or not: she just makes her living off other people's bullshit (so you could argue that she doesn't even have the creativity of a hoaxer).

I'm not that impressed by the fact that she can produce witnesses: ignorance+the power of suggestion can make people see some pretty incredible things when the trigger is something utterly mundane ("rods", anyone?).
 
I've listened to every one of her drone witness reports, and none of them even remotely sounded like hoaxes. If they were, you'd expect them to show up a lot of other places, not just hers. I mean, if one of the witnesses really wanted to pull off a hoax, they'd do like Chad did and contact George Noory or Larry King or anyone other than Linda. Nobody knows who she is.

I've said it before, and I'll say it again; the drone story was dismissed too quickly.

I'd much quicker go for the idea they were concocted by several individuals who are better than the average joe at image manipulation and graphic design.
If it was a govt disinfo campaign all it really did was fool a few people who were already into UFOs.

I may not agree with Howe on this one and the whole drone thing. It's sort of how Stan puts it .."in my grey basket".

however....

I think as a whole she does some pretty good work. Her ongoing work on colony collapse disorder I found to be very informative.

This snake-oil salesman has now claimed for the third or fourth time that the drones are absolutely real and Unknown Country has a "team" of CGI experts that "told him so". However, he doesn't need a team because he seems them too—just like every UFO fad the hits the internet. Another example...those War of the Worlds style UFOs in Turkey—he saw them when he was a lil' boy.

Seriously, listen to the first 5 minutes of his latest podcast, then listen to the first few minutes of his interview with our friend Paola Harris.

I've lost all respect for this guy.
 
Whitley Strieber was a fraud from the word go. His stories of being cornholed by aliens won acclaim from the fruit and nut crowd for the last 20 years, and his sorry ass is about as relevant to the UFO phenomena as George Bush is to Particle Physics.

The UFO community needs to remove every one of these frauds. If You've written a book that was made into a movie, YOU ARE OUT. If you openly claim to have been cornholed by aliens, YOU ARE OUT. If you are screaming about how the aliens want to save us, and our planet, YOU ARE OUT. If You have a talk show where you let every retard in the business on and never ask them any hard questions, YOU ARE OUT.

People like Linda Moulton Howe, Paola Harris, Whitley Strieber, George Noory, Steven Greer, Lloyd Pye, Derrell Sims, Billy Meier, Michael Horn, Kal Korff, and countless other useless eaters in this business need to be gotten rid of. They serve no purpose other than to take away the real credible investigators, and credible documentarians of this phenomena.

ALL of the people I've mentioned are the reason why the UFO phenomenon is looked at by the mainstream as down town Kooksville. When you have idiots talking about being cornholed by aliens, alien love children, hunting MIBs and Aliens with a secretary, and other fucking wacko basket nonsense, how could any sane person take ANY of these things seriously?

It's why people like James McGaha get air time on television working as a debunker. His explanations are every bit as retarded as the people claiming to see lights in the sky, but when compared to the plethora of liars, frauds and bullshit artists, his ridiculous explanations seem sane compared to the nonsense being touted by the laundry list of frauds in this business.

You want REAL change in the UFO community? Start asking the hard questions of these people, and when they clam up, or have nothing to say, cut them loose, and shame them for the frauds they are. Once they are gone, then there might be a reformation, and purification of this field. It desperately needs to happen, because for the forseeable future, we are stuck with only a handfull of credible people in this community, while the majority of frauds and halfwits gain all the publicity.

It is why I really wanted to produce my own UFO related magazine, and will likely do so. Just so I can bury these lying assholes in their own bullshit.
