are you positive she is blind? when my clients come in my studio and say "hi" to my blind cat she looks right at their face because thats where the sounds comes from. she then will try to untie their shoelaces and also will dig in their purse if they have one. she fetches very well, catches all the bugs and mice in the house, chases the other cats, etc etc.. it is very hard to tell that she is totally blind.
 
well at that time she was blind but it obviously was only temporary and for what ever reason, she recovered. That was over 20 years ago.
