New DMR MP3s are ONLINE

Free episodes:

Hmmmm, this doesn't make any sense. The files are there, it's just that the code is not correct. If you would like I can provide this handy service by just putting the code / links right here in the forums. Of course, if this is something that it not permitted, please feel free to take them down.

**After downloading the files it looks like that 3 of them are not from week 14.

Week 14 Monday - http://www.dqrm.com/shows/dmr-14-m.mp3
Week 14 Tuesday - http://www.dqrm.com/shows/dmr-14-t.mp3
Week 14 Wednesday - http://www.dqrm.com/shows/dmr-14-w.mp3
Week 14 Thursday - http://www.dqrm.com/shows/dmr-14-th.mp3
Week 14 Friday - http://www.dqrm.com/shows/dmr-14-f.mp3

Thanks Don ! We know its not down to you, that's for sure. I would still love to have a copy of the moon show, and the one with Gene and Dave...

fuckers are still gone.

I tried to put in the direct link to a show with the week number and the day of the week but I keep getting random shit that doesnt belong on that week number.

Good effort there Gareth, shame the links are dead. The audio links at Dark Matters Radio seem to come and go (down at the moment). It's not a browser or OS issue, I've tried everything under OS X & XP.

If your links are week 14, then what's this, week 18? http://www.dqrm.com/shows/DMR/dmr-18-t.mp3 AFAIK DM is only at week 16 according to Don's site.

I'm just taking a "Lucky Dip" approach to DM archives right now, good job it's all good listening!

Maybe they are upgrading to a 400 baude modem to speed up the dot matrix.

I think the mp3s are converted to punch cards, driven across town in an old Buick Skylark where they are then loaded into an aging IBM machine that cuts a wax cylinder recording that is then played into an decrepit pay phone where it is recorded on the other end by somebody's crusty laptop mike. The resulting file is then uploaded to the archive page by driving around the neighborhood until an unsecured wireless connection can be found. That's the working theory anyway. It might not be a Buick Skylark but a pale green Ford Falcon sedan with a slipping differential ... investigators are still hypnotically regressing the usual suspects.
