No, Folks I Didn't Make This One Up!

:D - perhaps this comes from the same source as Kal Korff is an Idiot? I've only ever listened to Noory once - that was enough for me.

Thanks for this link! Here are a few of my favorite Noory quotes I took from that particular section of the forums there. I know they're taken out of context but they are pretty funny!

"Could it be a portal?"
"I truly believe there are other solar systems out there. I really do."
"I would guess your mind is part of who you are."

I love this one...
“I really do believe 2012 is coming. What do you think about that?”

Poor George, nothing says 'ignorant' louder than this one...
“Are they called sand scripts because they were written on tablets of sand?”
(To Michael Cremo, referring to the Sanskrit language.)

A lot of those people over there just hate George because he isn't Art, who also sucks. Which is one of the only things I like about George.....

Wonder if there will be a Paracast sucks or David B. sucks site some day. I left you out Gene cause you don't piss people off that much lol.

They've gone after me in the past too.

On the other hand, in a perverse way, this may be a badge of honor to some.

Maybe we should start our own "sucks" site, so we control the content.

David? :D

. . . and that's why Gene is the brains of this operation. He's always covering the angles, and hatching the sinister plots!

I tip my hat to you, sir.

:D

Ive not really listened to coast 2 coast on account of having to pay for the pleasure.

Is it that bad ?

That's an opinions wuestion of course . . . it's certainly the largest, most successful paranormal-type show in the market. It has spawned countless imitators (not to name any names) . . . so apparently the vast majority of people interested in the unknown do not find it too terrible.

If it's the largest and most succesfull then could i correctley assume that they have lucrative advertising deals.

If so then why do you have to pay ?

Is it like the BBC where there is no external advertising and thats why you have to pay ?

I dont want to pay money only to find that i dont like it.

I'll stick with "The ParaCast". ;)

Not that I'm encouraging people to listen to C2C...but you could listen live for free if you wanted to get up early in the morning in Britain...

http://ktrh.com/main.html
This is the local AM station in Houston, TX that carries C2C and broadcasts it live on its website. It comes on at midnight Central time, which is about GMT-6 I think. Since it lasts about 4 hours, you could jump in any time.

Thanks Buddy i'll check that out ! :)

Well, I don't know about this, is an entire forum dedicated to hating George Noory necessary? It took me a while to get used to George Noory, but I don't hate the man. And although I much prefer Art Bell despite what has been said about him (at least he has that certain radio presence, personality and voice), George is who we have now and it looks like he's going to be there a long time. So rather that gripe about his interview style or lack of one... I select based on the subject matter and who the guests are, when I'll listen. Thanks to you Paracast guys, I now cringe everytime Greer or Horn are mentioned, so that's when I tune out. ;)

I have listened to C2C, but it was mostly kinda boring.
But what really bugs me about Norry is that he reminds me of (William) Bill Cooper, author of "On a Pale Horse" and he had a shortwave show in the evenings (acytually, I think it's still going), but Bill himself was shot by a deputy trying to serve him a warrent.
Bill use to be a regular on the Alan Handelman radio show, and he would get livid and really pissed when people questioned him about what he was saying about government cospiracy, UFO's , and his record in the Navy. That really turned me off from him.

You live in NC? I used to listen to Alan every week. My friend Krista worked on the show, and I didn't even know it til much later. Sucks, since I would be hangin with her the night before the show often. I coulda maybe made some suggestions or asked her questions etc.

I recall the Bill shows. He would get pissed a lot.

And Brian, good luck with the Silvia avatar.

Yeah I live in the mountains near North Wilkesboro, and I used to listen to Alan when he had an interesting guest on Fox 99.7. Now he's on some station near Raleigh that I can't pick up. You can hear him online, but every show for the past few months has been about rock bands or pop culture stuff, nothing paranormal. I don't know if he got bored with paranormality or what. But years ago his show was worth waiting all week for.
