Bryce Zabel returns to The Paracast to update us on what he's been working on since his last appearance. Eleven years after the speculative fiction story he and Richard M. Dolan wrote about the subject, “A.D. After Disclosure: When the Government Finally Reveals the Truth About Alien Contact,” Zabel talks about what he regards as the improved prospects for the secret of the UFOs — or UAPs — finally being revealed now that the U.S. government has established the Pentagon UAP Task Force.

A winner of the WGA award for screenwriting, Bryce has created and produced five primetime television series, including fan favorites Dark Skies and The Crow, and worked on a dozen TV writing staffs. A produced feature (Atlantis, Mortal Kombat) and miniseries (Blackbeard, Pandemic) writer, Bryce's latest film, The Last Battle, based on a New York Times bestseller, will be shot by Endurance Media in Europe in 2022. His Breakpoint book series has twice won the coveted Sidewise Award for Alternate History. He was the first writer since Rod Serling elected to serve as Chairman/CEO of the Television Academy, the organization that awards the Emmys. He has taught screenwriting as an Adjunct Professor at the USC School of Cinematic Arts, reported on-air as a CNN correspondent, and won multiple awards for investigative reporting for PBS. A widely published essayist, he writes and edits the publication Trail of the Saucers on the Medium platform.

Question: I've always been a fan of Dark Skies because of it's realistic approach to the what-if of Majestic 12, the research into the UFO phenomenon, etc. I considered it as realistic of an approach as the X-Files, which I think added to the bleakness and magic. With the proliferation of streaming media, has there been any discussion for a continuation or reboot of the show?

Look forward to this interview while not watch 'Dark Skies' series nor read his books. Currently reading Ross Coulthard book which is vrery good but like others it does touch on a lot material for folks followed the field for awhile. It's good for the newbebies with middle ground approach and Author Ross dropped one of the biggest gems not seen in the UFO research for a while that online two . Enjoyed Nick's books and his first is one of the best that mentions 'Blue Beam' which is load of hogwash and one element on Benwaters that it's a in house job that's been missed regarding hologram technology at that period in history if it existed. Another is what happen in other locations before and during those dates . Old saying '"give them what they believe " put the beer money on 'Unkown' not hologram.

So here is my question for Bryce.
Does he believe that the UAP taskforce is nothing more than a cover for the industrial military complex and black projects.
And does he think that's what UAP are?

Excellent show and got two of the best ever photos caught from files in HD of what is the unknown and how it's managed to navigate .................... not at all like suggest alleged greys . Moreover, matches real eyewitness at Roswell brazel Crashes as stated not on the books . Also make the USS Nimitz images look crap due to lack of secondary images -Lue would know what I am getting at. Although support the US Navy disclosure it not shown any real movement nor will it while US Democratcs hold office refer to General Macarthur warning on deep state that will disclose the real stuff. Currently, going through records with a publisher who seen the material and viewed Roswell Brazel Crash diaries and interviews . Also Roswell was key so was another not on the records. The phenomenon is world wide not just Skinwalker. Another element is the unknown! camouflage mechanisms are amazing. Also not any nations technology.
