I remember at some point Ramtha bought a bunch of land, supplies and guns for her and her followers in preparation for some sort of apocalyptic event she was predicting was going to happen. I wonder how much money her deluded "fans" donated to her for all of that. Of course evangelical Christian churches scam millions every year from people who can ill afford to give it, all in the hopes that the minister will put in a good word to God in their name.
Theoretically, her unwitting flock may have been assisting MUFON financially. Wondering what was in it for her, be it credibility, notoriety, genuine interest, or perhaps vectoring MUFON in the direction of her compound, hoping for a convention complete with plenty of firearms and ammo.

Irrespective, wacky stuff.

Yes they do as do the Catholic church who sell fake relics.

So it says:

"As of 2022, the only places that still reserve the electric chair as an option for execution are the U.S. states of Alabama, Florida, South Carolina, Kentucky, and Tennessee. Arkansas and Oklahoma laws provide for its use should lethal injection ever be held to be unconstitutional."

In any case, they are going to have one heck of a time to convict Trump of paying off a porn star to conceal an adulterous scandal, and doing it illegally with campaign funds. They'll do better with the charge of trying to falsify the 2020 election results — election fraud — in Georgia, and possibly with the Department of Justice cases. But even if he's convicted of all these crimes, he doesn't stand a chance to spend much jail time.

I think that's a disgrace. Trump should face the equivalent of the Nuremberg trials and not by just America.
This man is a monster and not only him but all those who followed him should spend their lives in prison if the death sentence is not available.

There was no doubt that Ramtha and her followers were being watched by the FBI. I think after some heavy-handed attempts by the feds to arrest other armed groups ended badly, they weren't as keen to rush in with the Ramtha group. As well, since they weren't threatening anyone, or refusing to pay their taxes, they were pretty much left alone.

And if they have plenty of $$$$ to hire lawyers, that would also diminish their chances to face the music.

I know of someone charged with a modest white collar crime. He accepted a plea deal for 11 months in prison because he couldn't afford to pay a lawyer for a proper defense.

Imagine, if you dare, this alleged occurrence at Ramtha’s compound of enlightenment ….

“Another incident which is mentioned by both Cunningham and Joe Szimhart is the practice of running blindfolded in a large fenced field. Szimhart mentions in particular an occasion around the year 1990, in which about 1,000 blindfolded students were directed to split up and run across the field, with their hands in the "Consciousness & Energy" position in front of them, and the exercise was meant to help the students overcome their fears. Szimhart recalls how many people crashed into each other, and that there were some injuries. A customer of his ended up with a deeply bruised shoulder and a big lump on his forehead. Aside from the minor injuries, a few people had to be treated at the hospital.”

That’s potentially $1,000,000 bucks stumbling about out in that field.
