I'll never forget the ice bowl. I was a little kid watching on T.V. as Bart Starr broke the Cowboys hearts behind Jerry Kramer and Fuzzy Thurston. Long time ago but it was the start of my being a BamaCheeseHead! 8)

When the Pack wins I get a call from an old childhood friend. We were Packer fans as little boys. Also, always speak to my mom. She loved the Packers. I don't really know how it started but I think it had to do with Bart Starr. This is another "childhood hero" of mine.

What an unimaginable season!!!!! I want to pinch myself to make sure I'm not dreaming! And I don't think the average NFL watcher outside of Wisconsin can really appreciate the incredible adversity this team has had to overcome in order to get to this point.

But, holy cow, the Steelers????? If you want to be crowned the best, you've got to beat the best, and the Steelers certainly look like they are the team to beat. Can Aaron, BJ, Clay and their teammates overcome this final monumental obstacle? I've got butterflies already!!!!!

Well, as a life long Steeler fan, I gotta tell you I was glued to the set today. First up Chicago and Green Bay. I rooted for GB cause I can't stand Chicago. And last week I rooted for NY cause I wanted to see them destroy the Pats. Okay, so far I am happy. Then after GB won, twas time for the Steelers and Jets game.

WHEW!! First half was awesome. Jets weren't focused, but they came back strong ... but not enough! Maybe next year NY.

However on to Superbowl 45 and dare I say it? Steelers are gonna kick some Green Bay ass. Sorry you all but "dem Steelers, day tuff!"

I am on cloud 9 still today. I am pumped we drew the Steelers. Rodgers has some enormous shoes to fill. If he ever truly wants to be rid of that monkey he needs to win over a tough opponent. Though I was kinda wishing for a Pats rematch just draw an historical parallel this ain't half bad either.

Big Ben is going to be a tough one. The guy knows how to win big games. But, much like the Steve Young story this should be a big game for Rodgers. At least that is assuming he hasn't spent all his collected karma just getting here.

Anyway, it should be a great game!

GO PACK GO!

Good Luck, your gonna need it! I am gonna go an a limb and say Packers by 6.

Although I liked Farve I actually think the Packers would have been in at least two more super bowls if he would have calmed down a little bit. He threw up a "air ball" against the Eagles some years ago in a tight situation. Then his last pass as a Packer against the Giants. Then as a Viking against the Saints last year I told my wife before the play. Just watch this ...he's gonna do what he did with the Pack. He's tired and he's just gonna throw one up. He did! I know that sounds harsh and I don't mean to be. I followed his career from the Falcons (more of my own regional team) all the way through his Packer career. He was great but he just had a "streak" in him that no amount of coaching ever tamed.

Good luck to the Packers and I know the Steelers will come to play. Should be a great game.

I don't have a favorite team and watched the super bowl live on tv for the last 8 or so years( I developed some sort of hatred for the New England Patriots over time), so I always more or less root for the underdogs. I actually really like the game (though 'real' foot to ball, or as some call it 'soccer', is and always will be my passion).

Steelers vs. Packers sounds great to me though, I'll be watching. May the best team win.

I am a HUGE Favre fan. But I have to agree. I have cursed him as much as I rooted for him. I hated Thompson fo choosing Rodgers but in hindsight it was the right choice. Though it pains me GREATLY to say it.

Jump on board and become a Packers fan. There is plenty of room on the band wagon I promise!

Funny story. I lived in Hawaii and went to Pro Bowl in 2000 in Honolulu. I had on my Packers cap and somebody came up and said "Are you from Wisconsin?" I said yeah, "Southern" Wisconsin. :p Of course I then explained about being a Packer fan from childhood although I'm from Alabama. I have found people from the midwest area have much of the hospitality that southernes are famous for. Little different accent :p but pretty good folks.

SWEEEEET! Welcome aboard! now if I can just convert Don..... :)

Not this week Bunky. Now I will go out on a limb and suggest the Steelers will do it by .........

10 points.

Kay ... now we will see.

(Hmm, lets see, chips .. check. Beer .. check .. wife is on board .. check (and btw she is now a Steelers fan) and what else? Know I am forgetting sumpin .. Oh geeze .. wife wants to drag me to a Sports Bar .. and eat Pizza and drink Beer. Dog gone that ball and chain .....)

Its getting closer folks! It looks like Green Bay brought the frozen tundra to Dallas. It is sleeting now and a snow/ice mix tomorrow. Lows in the low teens for the next few days. SWEEEET! Now this is Football weather!

watching over paid athletes play for 12 - 15 minutes in a 3 hour time span? ... no thanks.

Packers, bah! Looks like Bears won't be getting back to the Superbowl before Armageddon.

Having said that, I'm pulling for our NFC North brethren to take the S.B. Good luck to the Pack, you'll be needing it.
