Politics & The CIC/Prez

Free episodes:

A kid I played ice hockey with in high school apparently started a landscaping business (after high school). At some point he put in a bid to "win" the contract to do snow plowing in the winter time. Well he "won" the bid the old fashioned way in NJ, bribery. All parties got busted, but at the end of the documents I noticed it was signed by then attorney general, Christopher Christie lol.

I walked past a room where some family members watching a debate last week, and the only thing I heard was Chris Christie say '..and order a pizza..' LOL

Trump is our last chance to save the country. If we elect another establishment Republican, or Socialist like Sanders; we will continue the downward spiral. I am dismayed that anyone would even consider voting for a lying thief like Hillary. I was very disappointed to hear the disparaging remarks made at the beginning of your 10th anniversary show directed at Trump....makes me glad I didn't waste money on becoming a paid subscriber.

Let me ask you one thing: Are you serious, or just putting us on?

How is Clinton a "lying thief" (examples please) and are you aware that very few of Trump's promises are realistic? Do you really believe his Trump University venture, now out of business, was honest and forthright in what it did?

Oh, and Sanders is a Democratic Socialist, not a Socialist. There is a distinct difference. Look it up.

Time to change the name of the show to the Liberalcast.

I've listened to you guys on and off since 2009, and starting out part 2 of your 10th anniversary show with the tired liberal Trump bashing shtick was pretty lame. I think it's the only time I've turned off your program a few minutes in and never bothered to listen to the rest. I probably am not even voting for Trump, or even at all (the top choices thus far are a business jackass, someone who wants to tax us even harder, and the queen of all liars), but I hear enough of this crap EVERYWHERE else that hearing it from you guys was quite disappointing.

Perhaps stick to posting your MSNBC talking points on Facebook like everyone else and keep the Paracast untainted.

That "tired liberal Trump bashing shtick" was repeated by Mitt Romney in his statement last week, and his ongoing statements since then. Is he a "tired liberal"?

Just what are "MSNBC talking points" anyway? Except for three liberal commentators in the evening, they are pretty much down the middle these days. Their morning person, Joe Scarborough, is a former conservative Republican member of Congress. Liberal?

Who is taxing you "even harder"? Unless you earn over $400,000 a year, not the Federal government.

Unfortunately, we cannot avoid politics. Whenever you talk about the prospects of UFO disclosure, you're right in the middle of politics.

Trump is doing it for Trump, not to save the country. Anybody that thinks otherwise is deluded. As for me, I haven't much regard for Clinton either. As it is I think i'm just going to hunker down the next four years.

I now wish that Romney had won four years ago. Not so much because of dissatisfaction with Obama...although there is that...but if Romney had won and done a credible job I wouldn't have to concern myself with hunkering down for the next four years.

We have a democratic candidate who may come under indictment by the FBI (they never seemed to concern themselves with indicting Rice or Powell though) so I have to wonder what that's about, a witch hunt perhaps, did Hillary step on the wrong toes or was she being Hillary "i'm entitled I just don't let on" Clinton? My guess it's the later.

Email Scandal Spin: No, Hillary, Powell and Rice Didn't 'Do It Too'

And the (for now) Republican candidate may find himself on the stand for some alleged malfeasance from a pseudo University that offered some accreditation that isn't worth a s*** according to the people who stuck it out and came out with one.

As Yakov Smirnov says "America, what a country"

I think Kaisch had the best sentiment in the recent debates when he suggested that everybody have respect for the feelings of others and don't just sue people because of a difference of opinion.

Don't fall for the nonsense of this email scandal. Lot of spin, little substance. The NY Times backed off the claim that the FBI was engaged in a criminal investigation. It doesn't rise to that level.

Remember, too, that Powell used an AOL account for his email, and he didn't save any of it, while Clinton had a private email server. Which is more secure? Do I have to ask?

Oh, and I read over the piece to which Wade linked about the alleged classified email on Clinton's server. It's a clever spin, claiming she's changed her story, but as a practical matter she didn't.

She says she didn't send classified email, which means it wasn't marked classified when she sent it. That some was later labeled as classified is not an indictment of her. It's just a matter of different government agencies having different priorities in what they classify and why.

Well, here is a few reasons why Hillary should not be elected:
1. Benghazi
2. Accepting millions of dollars from foreign governments, specifically those countries that have a track record of supporting terrorism and abusing women.
3. Attacking women who were raped by her Hillbilly husband, while claiming to be a champion of women
4. She supported TTP deal
5. Email scandal
6. Listen to what Secret Service says about her
7. Chaos in the Middle East (Arab spring)
8. Countless lies

You really shouldn't fall for the faux scandals the Republicans have invented to discredit her. She should be judged on her own merits.

1. There is no Benghazi scandal. Not a real one anyway. It has been investigated multiple times by Congress and they've come up with nothing other than the recommendations for better security that were originally made and accepted by Clinton. The rest is nonsense, and one prominent Republican admitted, in a Fox News interview with Sean Hannity, that it was all done to discredit Clinton.

2. This is the Clinton Foundation, and they do charitable work that benefits a lot of people. She did not personally benefit from any of the money.

3. Just supporting her cheating husband. She wouldn't be the first.

4. And so did the Republicans. It's legitimate to discuss this, but I think she's less favorable towards it now.

5. Another faux scandal. She did nothing different from her predecessors. Powell used an AOL account, which was just dumb, since AOL security is far worse than a private email server. I have a private email server, if you want to know. I've used them for years, and I know how they work. In any case, Powell didn't save his email, so we don't know what was there.

6. And?

7. Yeah, and how much of that is the side effect of the unnecessary wars in Iraq and Afghanistan?

8. More than other politicians? I hardly think so.

Regurgitating partisan talking points is not helpful to the discussion. It's fair to say you disagree with her approach, or that she wouldn't handle the job in the way you want. But, other than John Kasich, she has more experience than any candidate in the running. Indeed a Clinton-Kasich matchup would be the most sensible. Two sane people arguing ideas and experience, and may the better candidate win. Trump and Cruz are borderline psychotic, and Rubio is out of his element.

Gene you and I bolth know Kasich has a snowballs chance in hell of winning the nomination. .

I'm not a fan of his views, which are really far right of center and in some areas very unrealistic. But he seems a decent and honorable person and has the breadth of experience that makes him fully qualified to be President.

In a brokered convention, which is still somewhat possible, he'd be an acceptable consensus candidate, unless the party is stupid enough to offer it to Romney (which is what he is hoping for despite the denials). The Republican bigwigs hate Cruz, and would love to see him and Trump self-destruct.

To be honest this is my view of what will happen. .trump will secure the nomination. Hillary Clinton will as well..Hillary Clinton will be our next president. .

Ever since Vincente Fox mocked Trump and said that Mexico isn't paying for a wall, Trump vow's that the wall "just became 10 ft higher." How high was it supposed to be originally? I'm not sure that was ever mentioned.
