I tried to watch it, but I couldn't. I literally felt sick.It reminded me of my 2 1/2 years in Gainesville, FL, when I saw young people happily going to war. I just couldn't get over the feeling that they were somehow brainwashed into killing and dying so the PTB can grab more power, overtax, sell arms and get reconstruction contracts!

Kudos for your daughter. Knowledge and critical thinking are so important. My son had a great history teacher at his high school in Florida, Buchholz.
However, there are good sides in socialism that should be explored as well.

• IMHO. socialism Scandinavian and Canadian style are wonderful.
• Socialism Brazilian style could be too, if it was not for the corruption mindset we have. I am not blaming politicians, because they are just a mirror of our society.
• My Yugoslavian friends loved socialism when Tito was alive.

Free health, amazing schools for everyone, and social welfare can be a way of sharing wealth. But wealth is the first step, and that is something that can only be achieved by entrepreneurship in a free society. The desire to share it with other human beings is the key...
