I watched Transformers last night. I liked it.

No no no no... they changed Jazz, my favorite character! In the cartoon he was the white porsche with the voice like Redd Fox, and in the movie they changed him into a mazda protege or something stupid like that.

Yeah, they changed quite a few I think. Bumblebee used to be a voltswagon/volkswagon right? I spent most my time staring at Megan Fox

The main star in the filmed played in Disturbia, which was pretty good. Not sci-fi though.

I just saw something that I am not sure I like. HBO was showing Star Wars Return of the Jedi tonight. I caught the tail end of it. The scene where Yoda, Anakin, and Obi Wan appear in ghost form, there was a change. The ghost of Anakin was not the old man but an image of Hayden Christensen. So I quickly paused tivo and grabbed my sons 2megapixel playschool camera and took a shot.

I just watched "Robinson Crusoe on Mars". It's a good old SciFi adventure, the entire movie is on Zuke05 channel on Youtube! Take a look at his other channel Zuke696 for the best collection of documentaries I have ever seen.

I recently watched the Nic Cage movie 'Knowing' and wasnt pleasantly surprised to see some 2012/Abduction/UFO themes and mythology as part of the script.

If I knew it was coming Im sure the impact would have been lessened, but as it was I had no idea and it was cool to see a modern semi-decent movie incorporate those themes.

Anyone seen "Dark City"? I just got done watching it and its a superb fiction movie, brilliant effects and storyline. I highly recommend it.

Yesterday I watched "The Core" that was educational after filtering out the obvious hollywood stuff I learned about the geology of the inner earth a bit.

Dark City is a great film. One of my favorites

I watched the re-make of "The Day the Earth Stood Still" a couple of days ago. What a piece of crap. The original was infinitely better.

Other than improvements in technology, I think older movies in general were much better than the tripe they sell these days.
