So is Todd Standing the equivalent of Billy Meier when it comes to Bigfoot?

I completely agree with the consensus here that the video looks like an obvious animatronic fake.

I thought this the first time I saw it however long ago.

I'm also perplexed by Meldrum's defense of it and think his analysis tends to miss the main point that the purportedly real creature arouses the 'uncanny valley' sensation in most discerning viewers.

However...

Necessity puts me in the role of Devil's Advocate.

What if the creature isn't natural in the way we are accustomed to, and can at times (perhaps when being extremely stealthy or preparing to cross dimensions, for example) exhibit robotic behavior like this thing does?

What if its natural habitat is the spectrum we label the Uncanny Valley?

If that were the case it would naturally look artificial to us.

Meldrum doesn't address this point though, so unless his support for the video is mostly intuitive, he is ridiculously grasping at straws by attempting to justify the realism of the creature based solely on an anatomical analysis.

Well said my friend , it is always goods to have someone playing Advocate, I'm still at a complete loss at his theories for supporting standings claims i do get maybe that us (humans) are used to a more human like face even on paranormal events but that video was hideous it reminded me of "YODA" from phantom menace I'm not just discriminately having a ago at his theriores if i am I'm not doing it intentionally.
and yes could be just a simple case of the "Uncanny Valley" but my monies on its Hoaxed unfortunately, the first time i saw standing i thought he was deeply passionate about it and wanted the truth he was constantly out in the field but there is Les stroud is he still backing standing ??

I don't know as much about Todd Standing or Les Stroud as I could.

If either or both of them are tainted in the field like a Rick Dyer is, then I'm still open to the possibility that some ultra-terrestrial puppet-masters are messing with us by giving the best evidence to proven hoaxers.

I get the feeling that this may have happened with UFO contactees back in the 50s and 60s, so why not today with Bigfoot researchers?

That being said, my gun-to-the-head test on this case tells me it's part of a sophisticated and ongoing intelligence agency psyop to infiltrate, corrupt and discredit the whole field of research.

I don't accept the 'lone prankster/charlatan' explanation for these things any more than I buy the continual -- patently false -- 'lone maniac' theories promoted by the mass media for all these mass shootings currently occurring in the US which are obviously being orchestrated by intelligence agencies to effect greater levels of governmental gun control.

seems that more we speak about things more questions emerge more people trying to make a buck and more secret agendas for others.
but why discredit something when that particular subject is already highly questionable and teeters on the edge of nonsense to reality.

buy a shot gun protect your family from animatronic coconut heads lol and sasquatch

I was always on the fence concerning Dr. Meldrum. To hear him talk he sounds genuine. I then saw him on 'Finding Bigfoot' and I lost all respect. I couldn't figure out what is to be gained talking to those lamebrains outside of a paycheck.

yeah i seen that one too i was hoping he was going to get them to talk sense that lot came over to the uk and it was embarrassing i have lived in the highlands of Scotland for years and no ones has ever said they have seen a Bigfoot big cats and panthers yes but not bigfoot
