I don't know what you mean by that?
Because it's difficult to describe something to somebody when they don't have any frame of reference. This forum is too much of a distraction, and I don't see how participating in this forum will help me accomplish anything. It isn't over until the fat lady sings.

While it's completely understandable to not have the cash to swing for equipment, you might want to consider utilizing the talents of an outside party that does. If this place is half as active as you're suggesting, I'm pretty sure you could find any number of investigators eager to check it out. And if you've been oribiting the field, you are probably well aware that despite its history, there's very little quality evidence, photographic or otherwise. You could be doing the field a great service.

I believe that, as someone goes through life, it is A GOOD THING if they are able to accept that somewhere there are people that know more than they do and will be willing to share that information. Participating in a Forum, such as "The Paracast" , should be an exercise in that pursuit of shared information. If you can honestly have a conversation with yourself and conclude that there is no-one here that can and will enlighten you on any of the issues typically discussed it may well be best that you spend you time/effort elsewhere. I think it is an extremely rare person that is qualified to come to that conclusion.

As far as the "fat lady" goes, I do not think she is even on the UFO stage much less completed her song. Good Luck with your decision, Voyager.

Finding an investigator willing to travel to this remote location and invest the time that would be required to accomplish anything is easier said than done. I have photgraphic evidence. If a person has never seen one of these objects how can they be expected to be able to interpret what they are looking at?

It's simply a matter of how do I allocate my time and energy.

All good points Voyager, and I will tell you from first hand accounts with investigators that it is a fruitless effort...they take your info and they leave, they do not care to hang out and wait to see if one is going to show up. I had multiple sightings in a 3 wk. period and had been in contact with 2 investigators the entire time who never seemed to have the time or energy to really come check this out. My events were even published in Filer's Files because they were of that type of magnitude and worthiness but yet to no avail did anyone in the field help in any manner. Mufon is a joke, in my opinion, and for many reasons not just that one , and they are supposed to be the best (laughable).
As for the orbs you have seen, I too have witnessed these on a few ocassions...one was red and very large , if I had to guess it was as large as the house that it was landing near. And it's distance was approximately 100 yds. from us. We also saw one that was landing and as big as the moon. My daughter actually thought that's what it was and had asked me why it was so low, that's when I looked and said that is not the moon, then I pointed the moon out to her which was behind us (not in the woods where the other thing was) and only at half moon phase. It is by far the scariest thing I've ever seen...simply because you just can't wrap your mind around what the hell these things are, except for intelligent. But very cool too!
I simpathize with people not being able to wrap their minds around the experiences you've had, I have found this to be S.O.P., unfortunately.
Peace

This place is a sounding board of experience and very useful one at that. Yes for sure there is never going to be a common consensus on what the phenomenon really represents but that should not stop you posting here and talking with us all.

As you know I have seen a very similar craft if not the exact same thing only about a week ago so I am interested in what you have to report and say so keep with us man.

Finding an investigator willing to travel to this remote location and invest the time that would be required to accomplish anything is easier said than done. I have photgraphic evidence. If a person has never seen one of these objects how can they be expected to be able to interpret what they are looking at?

Just to add to my body of information - not to declare evidence of anything - I would still like to see any pictures. Is there anyway you could draw a likeness of what you saw? That may give a lot of detail lacking in any pictures and someone else may recognise what you've drawn?
I think it is obvious you are wrestling with this issue and as to whether you are wasting your time even talking about this stuff. All I can say is that of course it is your decision. On a personal note, I would like to see any pictures/drawings/diagrams that can help build a picture of your experience(s). Not as proof of anything, just solely your interpretation of what you saw. Even though I don't know you to judge whether you would have anything to do with hoaxing etc, going on gut instinct alone I feel you have seen things you cannot rationally explain. Who cares if you convince anyone whether it happened or not or what it might mean. Since this ufology thing started people have fallen into certain groups/mind-sets. Most of the time it's almost impossible to change anyone from one mind-set to another. But for those of us who have not made up our minds and want as much data as possible, I implore you to post your pictures - even if it's the last thing you have to do with this forum?

good luck with whatever it is you saw whatever you decide to do - I don't know how you feel because I've never seen a UFO.

This is the deal: I am working on a presentation which includes text, graphics, and the pictures I took. I'm not sure it would be wise to publish the pictures prior to publishing the presentation. Moreover, I can't upload the images in full resolution, size, here. I might consider emailing you some pictures. By the way, there has been activity tonight, albeit high altitude, it's encouraging.

I can understand what you are saying here. I haven't seen the spheres of which you speak and I cannot relate directly to your experience. Further I am skeptical of many things, my own experiences included. (And I was 'buzzed" by a softball to basketball sized, internally lighted orb- with another witness.)

But the reason I keep posting on these boards is in the hope that someone will have an experience somewhat similar to mine, and that i'll get closer (even if only an inch at a time) to closing the gap between what I witnessed and how it relates to the rest of the UFO mystery.

I only hope that you'll do the same.
