Southwest UFO Tours

Free episodes:

For those interested in the big crater, the USI website has a brief article on the Barringer Meteroite Crater.

UFO tours are an interesting aspect of ufology culture. If I had the time and money I'd go all over the world and try them all ... well most of them. The ones where you get in a jeep in the jungle with some shady looking guys carrying automatic weapons I'd probably avoid because those are the ones where the aliens abduct you and only return you if you pay a healthy ransom ( ohh ... sorry I meant UFO abduction rescue fee ).

Good article on the crater, BTW UFOlogy. I didn't know about the UFO sighting around the crater you referenced. When you go into the visitor's center for the crater, they have a massive piece of the metal ore that is the meteorite on a pedistle, there. That, to me, was the most fascinating site there. The ore weighed tons and was shiny where it'd been rubbed over time. It looked faked but we were assured it was real and from the crater. The Barringer's still owned the property, too, while we were there in April, and probably lease the land to the Gvnmt for a decent profit.

I wish I'd known there were UFO tours when I lived in Texas. I really could care less about holidays on beaches drinking etc - I wanna see Mayan ruins and UFO tours (and a little bit of drinking - I am Scottish).

Definitely something I will look into for the future.

I saw a 2012 tour somewhere......not sure where. Now that bothers me because I remember thinking it was interesting. They were going to the South American areas that had all the Mayan ruins. There is an Ancient Alien's tour offered on topsecrettours.com but that was scheduled for "Summer of 2012" and, obviously, something happened to nix it. If I come across it again I'll post it here.

Yes Jeff, I saw Chri O'Brien on youtube when he spoke at MUFON LA this year, he stated that himself and some others were organising a tour to Palenque in Mexico this year as a 2012 type deal. I cannot afford such a trip this year but if we make it through Dec 2012 I might arrange a trip next year.

My dream trip would be to the San Luis Valley, armed with night-vision goggles, decent telescope and good camera with infra-red. You know, if a few guys/gals got together I imagine it would be possible to hire some decent equipment for a week. I could easy spend a week skywatching day and night in the valley. I would certainly ask if Chris was available and if not, could he point me in the direction of some good spots to look from.

Tony at TopSecret Tours may be able to set you up, too. At Sedona they were offering night-vision tours with very expensive night vision goggles. It looked impressive.....at least the view. I'm not convinced you'd see UFO's and such but running around the desert in the middle of the night while seeing up to a mile in pitch-black would be pretty cool. Who knows, though, maybe you should hit Chris up. I mean he does tours anyway, maybe he'd be willing to do a tour of his Valley.
