Who are they?

Sorry:

Nichelle Nichols and Leonard Nimory. The actors who played Uhura and Spock in the Original Star Trek Series (and the OST Movies).

Ah! No telling. I wondered if I could easily / quickly google them and see evidence that they had ever actually hooked up and would have any feelings on it based out of their reality... didn't see anything pop up in the immediate results, but did run up on this interesting little info block on her:

Nichelle Nichols was considering leaving the Star Trek franchise after the first season. Fed up with the racist harassment, culminating with her learning that studio executives were withholding her fan mail, she submitted her resignation. She withdrew it when Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. personally convinced her that her role was too important a cultural breakthrough to leave. She made both her first (TOS: "The Corbomite Maneuver") and last (Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country) Star Trek appearances with DeForest Kelley.

I'm pretty certain that those two never hooked up in real life. Leonard Nimoy's been married for many years (been out of the loop on them for a long time, I used to follow every detail on especially Nimoy when young).

Not sure if Nichelle's married or not...

But I don't think those two got together in real life or as characters during the series/movies.

I'm pretty certain that those two never hooked up in real life. Leonard Nimoy's been married for many years (been out of the loop on them for a long time, I used to follow every detail on especially Nimoy when young).

But I don't think those two got together in real life or as characters during the series/movies.

Not having checked carefully, I can tell you that Nimoy is currently living with his second wife.

Nichelle Nichols was married and divorced twice and had one child according to her bios. She also reportedly had an affair with Star Trek creator Gene Roddenberry in the 1960s.
